Our Ideas & Additional Information
I would be okay with considering just "Megan B Photography" as an option, but would prefer to keep the full "Megan Battersby Photography" if possible. I really love the "M" image I have with the heart inside that I've used for 3 years with my business, and would like to try to keep it incorporated (feel free to re-design it). I want something a bit more friendly and whimsical, but still sophisticated and professional, as I do shoot occasional weddings and events. I have attached a file as well.

I love the following: peonies, ranunculus, dahlias, gerber daisies, poppies and cherry blossoms.

I also love vintage cameras.

Some logos that I love are:

http://erintole.com/blog
http://www.simplysaidphotography.com/blog/

I need to be able to use elements of the logo for different things. For example, if the logo contains a small image of a camera, flower, or "M", I'd like to be able to extract that image and use it independently to have stickers or stamps made to compliment my packaging material. I'd like to be able extract my name to use as a signature after a blog post.

Fonts should be easy to read as well. I should be able to use the entire logo or an element of the logo as a Facebook profile image, or as a cover photo.

Discussion

While the designs so far look good, nothing is exactly what I want yet. I'd like to see a little bit more of a script style font for my name, and not have everything look so symmetrical and straight lined.

The new script is looking better. I'd like to maybe try some logos without the "M" aspect, and maybe utilize some of other elements I suggested, like vintage camera, flowers etc.

A design concept that my partner and I have developed, which I REALLY like, is to have the aperture shutter blades transitioning/morphing into a flower of some sort. I would like to see this in replace of "M". The logo does NOT need to be symmetrical, so I'd like to see placement of words and images in different layouts.

An example of what I'm talking about is found here: http://www.meganbattersby.com/index2.php?v=v1#/gallery1/1/
(The font, colours, placement are not what I want, just using this as a simple guideline of what we constructed)

I'd still like to see the idea of a vintage camera being incorporated instead of the shutter/flower idea. I'd also like to see the placement not be so centered.

Hi everyone. I'm still not finding the whimsical, friendly feel that I was aiming for, and the colours and emblems just aren't fitting what I've asked for. I provided links in my brief to two logos that I like, and it's very clear the vibe I'm trying to achieve by those. Please read the brief thoroughly. Thank you.
