Color Preferences
We like: dark blues, grey, silver, taupe
We do not like: pastels, yellow, red, purple
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We like the old Northwest Airlines logo. It's a very clever logo. You could see the slanted "N" with an "arrow" - which was like the top of a W, pointing to the northwest.

Hello Designers:

Thank you for your interest in working with me on a very important project for my client. I apologize that I don't have a website to share with you, but I did upload an article that was written by a car magazine for your review.

When you get a moment, please take a look at the contest brief. I've outlined some of my client's likes and dislikes there and have given you some ideas regarding the kinds of logos he has found interesting.

My client has an in the car, voice controlled navigation and entertainment system. Imagine plugging your iPod, iPhone or some other multimedia and/or phone device into your car. Your voice would control all of the functions... From navigation to music selection. It will also track what you as a user like to hear and give you suggestions by going out on the web and grabbing content and pushing it back through the car to your device.

I call it predictive infotainment with a car navigation component.

By the way, my client is a highly intelligent individual that likes clever designs. Music notes are a BIG NO for him.

Thank you in advance for your submissions!

Hello Designers:

Here's a quick update from my client regarding the submissions to date. Please note, I did not get a chance to review the submissions from this morning so this feedback does not account for the new entries today. (I will run those by my client tomorrow.)

With that, they had a team meeting and strategy session and here was some of their feedback:
Specific to #7, they don't like green but they do like the Media and Tronics being two colors
They think Ferrari Red and Silver would be a good combo or royal blue and metallic silver like the lotus
racing colors
Re: steering wheel designs, they prefer the ones that look more like a steering wheel and less like a peace
sign
They like the 3D logo effects of the font and shadowing underneath the logo
We might look at making the "M" more prominent in the steering wheel designs versus the steering wheel
dominating with the "M" as an after effect

Again, I have not been able to share #18 on, so please note this feedback does not pertain to those designs. I will ask for feedback on the newer entries.

Many thanks to all of you for your wonderful ideas. We feel very fortunate to have such incredible talent working on this important project for us!

Hello Designers:

Thank you for such strong entries. Wow! These are all very impressive and strong in their own way.

Quick feedback from the client for you. They'd prefer to see all designs on a white background as we will never print black cards. I can see why you laid them out this way as it really does pop the colors. That said, can you please deepen the silver when you do use the white background as that will give them something easier to see as we move forward.

Many thanks for your collective talent. These are very exciting designs!

Hello Designers:

Thank you very much for contributing your time and talent to this logo design contest. It wasn't easy to pick a winner as there were a lot of very strong designs!

I've ranked every design that wasn't withdrawn as I know that contributes to the points process. I hope this helps.

Thank you again,

Sam
