What We Do
MediaStarr is an online social network website that shrinks the web into a breakthrough level platform where everyone has a voice that can be heard by the whole world.
Industry
Internet
Color Preferences
yellow in the star, red for the M.
For a back ground I want it to be a dark blue or a medium purple like a violet purple or a mauve purple.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I want it to be like the image that I uploaded but more cleaned up and refined. Make it look more professional. I might also be interested in a sort of buble effect (like how the facebook logle looks like a button.) I might also be interested in a mild sparkle effect to it.

Alright thanks everyone for submitting all the entries so far. I would like to just add a few comments.
I would like it to be as close to this picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/76398408@N05/6861369982/ as possible
A few pointers with the M: I want it to be inside the star like in the picture. I also want to show this other flickr photo that outlines something about the relationship between the M and the star that I think is very important.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/76398408@N05/6862730478/ Ièm really hoping I'm explaining that well enough, if anyones is confused you can send me an email.
I'm finding the facebook like bubble shiny effect thing hasn't been working out quit as I had hoped for the most part, so feel free to leave it out.

and finally I would like to point out how I would like the text in realtion to the logo as out lined in these two following examples: http://www.flickr.com/photos/76398408@N05/6862744196/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/76398408@N05/7008860735/
Once again thanks everybody I hope that helps.

I would like to point out what the top people are doing right. I hope no one is offened by this but if you were to take the best of what everyone is doing in the top positions I think we have got my new logo.

#30 by Visartes is doing an AMAZING job of the outside of the logo that is how I imagined it if I were to actually imaged it. It very much has the right feel.

#22 by aldeano best positioned M, the color scheme is off, the bubble around it is interesting but not right other than that, THAT’S THE LOGO RIGHT THERE inside the rest of it.

#26 by grafixsphere has the best shine effect. It might be best for others NOT to attempt to do the bubble shine effect because I’m skeptical anyone is going to outperform grafixsphere in this area or even duplicate it. If you can master the rest of what everyone is doing you stand a really good shot at winning this; BUT if you can do a bubble shine effect somewhere in the grafixsphere ball park you will definitely get some major bonus points.

#6 by quroin has a certain jenesequa and right outline of the star in black but not too thick.
