Thank you so much for the rank, im very happy that you like my idea! I submit a landscape web 2.0 version (#8) and an emblem version (#7) in case you need to see the logo in another way, please just let me know. I really want to work with you on this project, and i will work hard to offer you new ideas in the time left.
Most of the designers wait until the last 24 hours to participate, so please dont worry :)
I really appreciate feedback, so, please let me know your thoughts about my work, and how can i improve it for you.
Many of our board members prefer this design (entry 10 ranked currently as #2). Here are some comments: the tray is too close to the persons head: The car is a bit bold. Maybe if you tried to flip the car around and then make the car either lighter in color and outlined in a darker color, perhaps that may lighted it a bit.
Regarding the entry number 9 that we have ranked number one here, this design actually got a few less votes in our market research than the one we ranked previously as number two. Comments include: looks like the car is too little and far away..or driving away. Perhaps if the perspective of the road was going from little to larger toward the deliverer of the meal...it would look like the car was going towards the seniors...not away.
Sue, Luanne is traveling, I am the Pres & CEO, Debbie. I have reranked and have sent the logos to our MArketing Committee so we can get some other comments.
Hi Sue, One of our board members who is a marketing Director at Intuit mentioned that too many colors can be problematic. Two suggestions: 1. On entry #25 leave the car the same blue as the people but do it as an outline-no fill and leave the Meals-on-Wheels all one color. 2. On entry #26 change Meals-on-Wheels to one color. This may not look as visually exciting on its own, but once we inlay the logo into various documents and newsletters, we don't want it to look too busy or "cartoonish" Thank you
Hi Sue, One more quick question. We need to select you as the winner, but the logo needs some more work. Should we go ahead and select you tomorrow and continue finishing it up on our own? Debbie
I will be more than happy of continue helping and improving your logo until everything looks just perfect, please dont feel any preassure about making me the winner or not. I always recommend to my clients that is better work on the logo until is finished, so the legal contract appear with the logo just the way it will be used, but if you need to complete the contest for any other reason, is really ok for me and you have my word that i wont give up until this logo its done.
Also, i have to say that i am really happy working on this, and this is one of my favorite logos i ever made.
Im going to work on the last changes and submit them right away.
Good Morning Sue, I think we are very close. As you can see we have narrowed it down to #37 and #31. Here are comments 1. On both change the word on to the color blue 2. On #31 change the words Greater San Diego, Inc to the orange color 3. On both add hyphens in our name Meals-on-Wheels
That should do it for now. Then we can at least post you as the winner Debbie & Luanne
