McGrath Printed ProductsLogo Design Contest

In addition to what is stated in the contest brief. We are a mid size commercial printing company servicing small business to large corporations for 29 years. The reason we are looking for a change is two-fold.
First, the word “Press” in McGrath Press is more or less old fashion for lack of a better phrase and can be misleading to potential clients as they look at “Press” and think we are a newspaper or magazine publisher. Also, since we have added our screen printing division along with promotional products line it makes more sense to go with “Printed Products”.

I would like to see some looks with the current "MP" logo. Remember, just the current shield with some creativity to the fonts on the"McGrath Printed Products" name along with unique placement.

I do understand this is a tough one trying to utilize an existing portion of a corporate logo. Trust me, I have in-house designers that had a real tough time with it...Thats why I put this challenge to the designers on LogoTournament:)!

Although we did not anticipate doing a complete re-brand of our corporate logo, we really appreciate the direction/level you all are taking it to. Nice work! That said, there needs to be more emphasis on the
“Printed Products” i.e. Design #5, #36, #27 and #28.

Note:
Several of the logo designs that we have placed as "not interested" or have a lower ranking do not have enough emphasis on the "Printed Products" i.e. font small or light in color; and some designs have used a script font which leans toward the feminine side which will not work for us.

Designs #16, #21, #54, #13, #40, #53 need to have more emphasis on the "Printed Products" in order to be considered further.
