Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

Thanks Nancy! I am really excited to see what the designers come up with and will make a comment on every entry. If they worked hard on something, I feel feedback is the least I can do! Thanks for the advice!

This is a great start! I think you went a little to literal, but I guess I would have started there with the information you were given from the form I completed....Maybe try a loon instead of the State of MN graphic???Or lakes...Or try to cartoon up the map graphic.. I am just throwing out ideas, they might not be good at all..

I would like some color variation if possible.. I hope this helps.

That National website is www.ahrmm.org and has very clean lines..maybe go with their approach? You can also go to the member section and see what other gold chapters have done for their logo and website..

#2 I like it..Could you play around with the MCAHRMM font just a little cleaner..it will be embroidered on vests and shirts..? Maybe make the Minnesota image a little bit more cartoonish?

#6 Really liking this.. #4 had all those items in each box, but need to give you better 'descriptive verbage.. ok, so on the national site, see their logo (www.ahrmm.org) it is like a triangle of all things coming together, would you be able to do something like it ( maybe a little looser style) at like 40% in and above the MCAHRMM? Maybe also apply that triangle on your #2? Our goal is to have a logo that is used on Marketing Materials ( website, newsletter, etc) and a version for our jackets, vest and shirts..

#17..Like your idea..Maybe a stronger font for the MCAHRMM..Maybe another color that compliments the green and blue..

MMEans #2..Would make a version of this with a simple green background, another version with the green background with a gradient and then another verison with the layers in green like #86?
