Would like to have something oil field related in the logo. so it is very clear we aren't justa law firm that does oil and gas, rather we are an oil and gas law firm.

The disgns with the tear drop shape remind me more of water than oil. Perphas an abstrat oil derrick or something like that can be incorporated that is more oil and gas oriented.

We are oil and gas attorneys practicing exclusively in Louisiana. You may consider browsing some exploration and production company sites to get some images. Check out the Oil and Gas Journal Site, the American Assoc of Petroleum Landman site, there is a petroleum geologist association that has a site, a petroleum engineers assoc that has a site, the Midcontinent oil and gas assoc site, the Louisiana Independent oil and gas assoc site. All of the above sites will have links to other E and P sites.

The logos with fire coming out the top won't work That's our client's worst nightmares, wouldn't want them to associate that with us!!!
