I really like entry #14! Entry 12 is cool too but hard to read the work minutes. As I"m looking at #14, I wonder if there is any way to add something that indicates the DVD's are about healthy living - i.e. nutrition, exercise, etc. Maybe an apple somewhere (I know, a bit trite, but just giving you an idea of what I'm thinking(. I love the colors...you're right on track.
I like the one with the words...need to sit with it for a bit. I just want to make sure it doesn't make the logo too busy. Curious...can you make the apple red and the apostrophe purple? These were recommendations from Max - my son - who is coming from 6-year-old perspective.
what would #22 look like with the wording (on healthy living...) arching over the top of it? I really like #22 and #23, but like the simplicity of #23 better. also really like #30 but think it might too busy???
#74 with red instead of yellow. I noticed you extended the contest 5 more days...please explain your thoughts in doing so...if you are not pleased with how things are going so far....perhaps i can better direct my designs. thank you.
Hi - I was feeling pressured that I only had 5 hours today to make a decision and I'm with clients most of the day. I really LOVE your #74 and it's my first choice. I've gotten a ton of wonderful feedback about this one...let's make a deal. I'm inclined to choose yours today, but since I'm focused on getting through my day with back-to-back clients, I'll let you know in the morning. Is that fair? I'm new to the Logo Tournament concept, so if I've broken etiquette in some way, I apologize. Thanks for all your work!
i'm so glad you like my design... just so you know, you can take time in deciding what you like even in judging mode.....so you can end this before the 5 days is over....this will prevent other designers from spending unnecessary time in creating something else. It's better to state your intentions especially when you are set on a particular design....don't worry, you've done nothing wrong. Please let me know if there is anything i can do for you.... I'm training to do the 100 mile MS. bike ride so i'm headed out right now and will be back later today. thank you so much.
hi juliehammerstein, please let me know if there is anything i can do for you at this time...any edits etc..you would like to see. My files are ready for you for when you decide to take my design under your wing...I can also make any and all edits during judging mode should you choose my design. thank you. i'm available this weekend so please feel free to contact me.
hi there - i'm going to go with your #74 but want to see what it would look like to make the words a little bigger on the top of the arch...just so we can read a bit better. i'm in leadville for the 100 mile race (i'm pacing a friend) so will try to check my email early tomorrow and late sunday to see if you've had a chance to edit. thank you!
#87 in my opinion seems to be the best out of all my ideas. I like how the space is filled in with the slogan, gives a sense of balance. My final files are finished and ready for you, should you decide to end your contest extension right away. any additional edits can be done in judging mode. thank you.
Hi again - let's see what this looks like with the Minutes in red, and the same purple apostrophe. Also, I wonder if we need to have the tag line IN the logo, or if I just have that somewhere else on the DVD? What are your thoughts. That way, we can still just put Nutrition. Exercise. Healthy Living.
in order to submitt my edits, you must place me in first place...only first place designer can submit revisions...My files are ready and the design looks great with your revision requests. thank you.,
This is almost perfect :) Hate to be a pain in the butt, but it seems that The A-Z's of Healthy Living is a bit hard to read with the green color. I like that A and Z are different colors...let's keep that concept and maybe try a different color than the green. I'm really sold on the house around the words...it really gets people tied into the fact that this is for the whole family, that is "safe", yet still playful. We're getting close!
I know it's a tough decision...i am personally very pleased with #115, it would work perfectly as a DVD design...i agree with you, the house certainly does express many important things about the DVD: One, it's in your home and it feels safe, very personal. Two, it extends the word "living" through a familiar image, easy to relate. It also gives an overall sense of purity, i like this because it complements the purity of your 61/2 year old Max.. I think, as long as you like to express "healthy living" - , #115 can be used in more ways than just the DVD cover design...
you could never make the wrong decision if choosing this logo to take home with you....it is a beautiful representation of Max's Minutes.
Okay, I've had input from several people, and it seems that when I'm talking GLOBAL, that this one is a better representation of this. Yes, it starts in the home - one family at a time - but the sophistication of this one seems to appeal to a broader audience, and again the circle shape of this one inspires the "global village" mentality, where the hands on the clock says the time is NOW. This may also appeal to a broader audience - even distributors - who will look at it as appealing to adults AND kids. So, is there a way to fit the wording in so that it reads The A-Z's of Healthy Living, rather than Healthy Living, A-Z? If we can make this work, then on the DVD I can put bullet points on Nutrition, Exercise, etc. But we can really brand Max's Minutes as it's as easy as the ABC's (although without saying it in the logo, I can put it in the text on the DVD, etc.). If we can make this work, then I'm ready to sign off on this and FINALLY select your logo before the end of the weekend :) Also, if this works, then I'd like to use for logo work with my book that's coming out in January.
I can't decide if I like the green text "for healthy living" in 124 or the purple in 122. It seems the green is hard to read, but I like the contrast. Your thoughts??? I know we're getting down to the wire here.
