This is unique! Can you work with the Lettering om the Maverick Farms. My partner feels it is too basic as compared to some of the other artist's designs
Imagine this was a craft beer label. A brand that sells but doesn't outsell miller lite. Something that is timeless. Could this be a label? Can you please experiment with this? We are in crunch time.
We were just discussing if we liked the double border but this color scheme makes me like it. I like the plant growing past the first border. makes it look larger
Thank you for that feedback and that makes sense. It has been great working with you thus far. The orange tractor guy and your design incorporating the plant into the "I" was fantastic. Keep doing what you do cause you are good t it.
Honestly the border doesn't bother me and it will be useful in case you want to apply it on different backgrounds on your products.
You can have an alternative version without the border for your other brand materials like stationary, social media etc.
As the artist do you think the border makes everything inside look smaller or more condensed? I feel like the border is taking away from the great work inside. What do you think?
Can we see the border not broken up by the top of the plant? Maybe see the border in a double line design? With one of the other colors outlined on the border?
New versions #118, #119, #120.
I tried lighter shades of brown and I've added a border in the same brown.
Michigan's state shape is complex so I didn't use it as a border but in #120 I placed it in the background.
He is a he, lol. Just spoke to him. We are leaning towards your work. Can we see the dark brown in a couple shades lighter. or softer? Also can you design a few variations with a border or some sort of encapsulation?
Of course I can make these changes.
I live in Greece and I am in a different time zone so I’ll upload my new versions tomorrow.
Thanks for your understanding
Maybe play with the shovel head color...browns. Maybe the same color as the as nature intended. I really like your choice of colors for the Maverick Farms, the sun, the tractor.
Thank you for reading the recent post. Can you take out the lady and keep the farmer and tractor? Add some Autumn colors. Maybe ad some styling variation to the lettering.
This is getting closer to our vision for this logo

#187 has just two colors, it's simple but eye catching.

The design is strong enough to work as a label.

I made two new versions, #104 & #105, in which the farmer's hat is a little bit bigger and I've also added some spruce trees on the sides.
Let me know your comments.
