#5: This is paradoxical in a way. I love the design because of its simplicity, but that's also exactly why I'm struggling with it. I'm all about the "less is more" approach, so I understand why you didn't include "speaking & training." The design is much cleaner without it. However, I'm afraid my brand is nowhere near strong enough to survive without an explanation of what I do. Any ideas? By the way, the "mg" letterform treatment is fantastic!
#18: This is an interesting concept. I like the comma effect (if that's what it is?). Not too crazy about the colors (the blue looks washed out to me), and I would still like to see how you would incorporate "speaking & training?"
#27: Very fresh and different take. I like this concept. Would like to see a beefier treatment of the text (looks kind of thin/weak), but this is a promising design! Thanks for the submission!
Thanks Matt. As I said, I believe this icon communicates the essence of your business--both speaking and training. I think your clients would also associate it with the idea of converting sales opportunities. If you have any other requests, please feel free to ask.
Hi Matt. I've tried to provide you with a variety of original options to choose from. Please keep in mind that if you have a preference for any kind of visual enhancements (gradients, colors, fonts, etc.) I can apply them to any of the concepts I have presented here.
In summary, I believe that Contest Holders are best served by selecting something unique, memorable, and identifiable as their own. I believe my entry #41 (or similar presentation) can be that kind of mark for your business, since it incorporates real meaning related to the benefits your provide. Hopefully you will agree. I think it is also important to note that this design will work well in one color, which is sometimes overlooked as an important factor in logo selection.
I wish you the best of luck with your final selection, as I know it is a difficult process. If you have any additional questions or requests, please feel free to ask.
Forgot to note: this graphic has a great deal of versatility as it can be used next to your name, or as an outer frame completely enclosing your name. You might also consider using it as an outer frame in powerpoint presentations to reinforce your branding.
