Please pilfer from Barbour and Filson - imagine Black Green back drop with cream color or nearly white lettering. Huckberry and Bexar goods are also good themes but they are more casual. This should be more formal.

The company logo will be a thistle so however many versions of a Scottish thistle you can create would be good. the company I work for now is a rampant lion so that's out...

I like the Barbour font because it's so identifiable to the brand. So possibly some version of that which might psychologically trigger the same response would be good. It should invoke the same idea.
