Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

Hi all, the client requested an extension of the contest over the weekend.

Posting the updated contest brief here as well.

the name "matchbox" expresses the following;
- game match
- match play
- matching (connecting) people together
- meeting someone
- something that lightens up or makes our everyday bright (such as a box full of matches)

the logo should have the following feel, aspect;
- pop, cute, simple, and fun
- casual
- interesting encounters with people and games

Thank you for all your entries. As all are such wonderful work, we have not been able to rank the entries yet. At the moment, we are looking at them one by one in detail and kindly ask you not to withdraw them too soon. Additionally, we would like to ask for a few more things;

- It would be ideal if the logo consists of two elements; a representative imagery, and the word "matchbox" literally, so it could be easily separated and used independently depending on situation. For example, we intend to place a minimized version of just the representative imagery at the corner of all our application icons.

- Cute and pop much appreciated.
- The representative imagery must come in front (at the left-side) of the text.
- Please include at least one speech balloon (as a motif, deformed if needed) in the representative imagery.
- if using matches, (such as entries #31, #34) it should be a motif and not exactly look like one.

We kindly ask again for the logo to consist of two elements; a representative imagery, and the letter "matchbox". Place the imagery at the left side, next to the letter.

We kindly request for the backgrounds to be white. We will ask for colored versions individually.

For the letters, please do not include extra words or subtitles. Just plain "matchbox" will suffice.

Please use blue as the main color and do not use too many different colors. Only a few extra colors other than the main color preferred.

Please include speech balloons (as a motif, deformed if needed) in the representative imagery.
