Our Ideas & Additional Information

In the last year, we did a deep image improvment; Catalogue, Web site, bochures, Sales tool, etc. Our Image if way more Dynamic that it used to be in the past. We are the leader of our industry. We just want to give a modern twist to our logo so it has to be easily recognizable. Our logo has been out there for more than 20 years now. See website www.mattech.ca for new marketing image and product positioning. I also invite you the download our new catalog (available on the homepage). Actual 3 squares in our logo refer to our 3 mat s system (scraper, wiper/scraper, wiper). White around each square refers to the vinyl/rubber borders of the mat. Our actual logo was more oriented based on our Entrance matting division but we also have an Anti-Fatigue matting division that is not really present in our actual logo. Font may also be reviewed. Guys, keep it simple! Some of these exemples don't even have Black,Red an White and are way too different from our actual logo. Please keep in mind that our brand is very strong right now in the market and we only want to give our logo a modern twist. No need to re-invent everything. Thanks!

Doncorvair, I don't think the light effect or reflection in the logo is not a good idea. It will be impossible or hard to print on promotional items (shirts, logo mats etc.). Keep it solid. So far, ideas wih some potential would be #1, 7 (try to play with colors to have them look more like our actual logo) and #15 (don't like the font and size you used). Thanks guys, keep ideas coming!

#14 BikinSendiri: You have a good idea with rounding some angles, but no grey: black, red and white only. If you want, keep playing with angles and shapes (it may be a good idea to have the 3 boxes from bottom left to top right). Thanks!

#36 doncorvair: We like your idea. We would like to see the word TECH in white (being part of the logo instead of outside). Also, MAT and TECH could be less massive (or little bit smaller and more delicate)

#23 EYdesign: Very nice! Close but no cigar! Could you please remove the slogan. I would also like to see small black line somewhere that would simulate the 3rd box. You could also try to change font proportion and height, and, finally, try to put a black rectangle around just to see... Thanks!

#24 EYdesign: Nice! We are not sure however, if we are ready to go with an horizontal logo format versus the old vertical one. So try to integrate your different ideas from #23 in this vertical format. Also, we do not like the actual font since the cut Ts are confusing and even look like an R. Keep more classic font. Can,t wait to see your other ideas. Thanks,
