general questions for the designers:
If we pick the design, can the colors be changed after the contest ends?
Can the logo be used for different purposes such as web and business cards and letterhead. If layout needs to altered for these, can this be done with the file by the web designer or printer?

Yes you can ask for variations from the designer in first place during the judging period. The submitted logo will ultimately be in a format that can easily be used for printing on other mediums such as business cards. Good luck with your contest.
