Our Ideas & Additional Information
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a master's degree in business administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The core courses in the MBA program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc. The MBA is designed to meet the educational needs of managers and executives.
Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) is part of the programs offered at Aalborg University (AAU). It is a part-time, two-year program with 3-day seminars 3-4 times each semester.
One of the things that differentiate the most from other MBA programs is the special form of teaching which characterizes Aalborg University. Aalborg University is internationally renowned as a leading educational institution within problem based learning (PBL). Through problem based learning AAU wishes to secure flexible interaction between theory and practice in the programmes. One of the principles of the PBL model is the students work on a problem oriented basis and complete projects of an advanced academic standard. Teaching and student work revolve around complex real-life problems or issues that the students wonder about and try to find answers to in scientific manners while working together in groups.
The new logo for the MBA will occasionally be presented next to the AAU logo (top left on this page: http://www.aau.dk/). But no need for reusing the colour or wave from the AAU logo in the new MBA logo.
Nice if either "Master of Business Administration" og "MBA" or both would be a part of the MBA logo. Maybe - if it looks good - "Aalborg Universitet" (not the AAU logo) could also be part of it. Beware of the spelling - it is "Aalborg Universitet" and not "Aalborg University" because it is a Danish university and a Danish MBA.
