Color Preferences

I bow to the talents of the designers and want them to choose colors they think are appropriate. I will say that I like Red, Black, Purple, Orange; I want to communicate Creativity, Excitement, Fun, Energy, Amazement, Wonder and Imagination!

Our Ideas & Additional Information

The magic world is full of stereotypical and cliche images: the rabbit coming out of the hat, sawing a woman in half, a magic wand waving over an empty top hat, etc. On one hand I am very excited to create something totally different and visionary; on the other hand these visual icons resonate with the public, and if there is a bold and new vision that incorporates some classic elements but is also fresh and vibrant, I am certainly open to that.

Thanks everyone for your images so far! My thoughts: I notice we have a lot of "classic" rabbit/hat/wand" images, and I just want to make sure you know I am VERY open to something totally new, exciting and different... a new interpretation symbolically and graphically. My job is: I create magic for people's lives and businesses. Again, the key words are: AMAZING, EXCITING, WONDER, CREATIVITY, FUN!

There is something very catchy about #6. It somehow says "Excitement" to me. But could the letters be a stronger font?

I love the bold lettering and the strong cartoon design of #1! But I do feel the image itself is a little too "on the nose" for me. I'm trying to think: what have people NOT seen before?

I like how #5 and #7 worked in the catchphrases "UNFORGETTABLE ENTERTAINMENT" and 'WONDER AND IMAGINATION"! Hmmm... could a catchphrase be an interesting addition to my logo?

While I admire the clever "MP" initials in #7, I afraid the "crown" image doesn't really say "magic" to me.

Hmm... there is something catchy about #9... though it might make people think I'm a hypnotist! Also the font is a little too Edgar Allen Poe for me...

Hi everybody!
After talking with my associates, I think I want to make the decision to move away from any "rabbit + hat" images. Even though some of the designs you've sent me are VERY creative(!), it seems the consensus is that the marketplace is just too flooded with this image, and I would not stand out from the crowd if I incorporated it. That's the general thought. However, if you want to prove me wrong, go ahead!!!

Wow... again I am truly impressed with everyone's creativity!

So it seems the logos that are exciting me the most are the ones that say "Mark Paskell Entertainment" and have some clear, powerful image or graphic that ties in with it, and that somehow expresses amazement, fun and creativity. I'm also feeling the ones against a white background seem to work the best for what I'm looking for, but let your instinct be your guide.
