Marine Operators, Inc.Logo Design Contest

I thought it may be helpful for everyone to see a photo of one of our barges at work so I just added it to the contest brief

We really appreciate everyone's submissions so far. We're actually having a hard time selecting our favorites. They are all great!

We have another concept/idea that we'd like to experiment with. We've added a second barge photo and a second sketch. Keep in mind that we are not as talented as you, but we were trying to capture the concept of a cast iron, rough welded, name plate you often see on a barge. We'll try to find another photo and will let you know when we've uploaded it.

Added a third photo that shows the name of a barge, MOP Chris. This is how all of our barges are identified - MOP XXX - and is how we have built such strong brand recognition with the letters MOP.

We're nearing the end of our Top 5 phase. Does anyone else have ideas along the lines of the second sketch we uploaded? Something that appears to be a welded cast iron name plate with the letters "MOP Marine Operators, Inc." engraved or welded on to the plate. The name plate could even be a rust color.

A HUGE thank you to everyone for all of your hard work. Our second concept idea did not turn out to be as good as the first concept but we want you to know we really appreciate those of you who jumped in to give us some examples as the contest came to a close. You all have given us plenty of very good designs to chose from. It's not going to be easy to pick just one!
