Looking good. My wife's favorite ! Thanks for the changes, Its strong, bold, good coloring. I'm happy with the lower section. Could you show me the front post narrower again.?
And, had a thought. A popular Mardon product is our range of Hinges. Could the corner of the post appear Hinged.? James.

Thanks for the feedback again.
In my opinion, I would not go too much narrower on the front post as the 'M's are shown in perspective
& if they were too close to the size of the back posts the perspective would start to look
incorrect. I'll try to trim it down a little, plus I will add the hinges.
Thanks again,
Don

#15 Don, I hear you on the perspective and think you've got it right. The white outline on this one makes it stand out well, good definition. Does the white hinge make it too busy now ? The logo will be used on brochures, letterheads etc as well as the main feature on my new website, so in a smaller version am I trying too hard.- thinking aloud here. Maybe instead of showing the white hinge itself, use the M's as the hinge. So use a jagged outline down the front white line of the M's. Or use a faint jagged line showing the nuckle of a hinge, but leave the main vertical line intact as well. If we do anything here its probably got to be subtle. Love to see you play around and see what you think. Love your work Don.

Hi James, here is a version ith just the center part of the hinge showing.
Since you mentioned that this would be used in various small formats, I do think that using
the white hinges may get a little busy & hard to make out. Also, using the hinge may
make people think that you only make hinges, I took a look at your website & realize
that you make much more than just hinges. In my opinion, most of the time it is better
to go with simplicity & not being over descriptive with the logo.
Remember, this is just my opinion & I am not trying to talk to into
or out of anything.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks Don, I think keeping it simple is the way to go to, it will reproduce in multiple formats better. I'll put it to my trusty panel of couch experts over the weekend and get some feedback. Its great to be able to explore different options and get other opinions as well!

Don, my panel thinks that the scale of the M's is correct in #19. So if you can resubmit #19, but without the long white Hinge spine. Regards, James.
