A Friendly Place

We are a public library. We offer books, ebooks, computer sessions, wifi, study rooms, and cultural and technology zoom programs. When there isn't a pandemic we offer in person programs for children, adults and the elderly.
I asked staff to describe the area we serve:

Our library is one block from the harbor so maybe some blue. #F47322 is associated with one of our high school teams, #69CDFD is associated with the other.
We have pink Korean cherry blossoms at the harbor nearby.
I am not opposed to other colors.
I want it to look happy, friendly and inviting, but also reproducible.

The two things everyone agreed on is that we are a friendly and multi ethnic neighborhood. We serve the old, teens and tweens and young.

We are one block from the big harbor park with green grass, benches and cherry blossoms by the harbor where there are sailboats and motorboats and a small beach. We are also around the corner from our quaint business district which is comprised about 6 blocks of locally owned small businesses and restaurants.

Our library is comprised of two buildings one old (classic design) and one modern (steel and glass) which are awkwardly attached. I don't think they are really attractive.

We have 2 high schools in our district one's team color is #69CDFD, the other's team color is #F47322.

The font with our name in front of our building is Gill Sans Regular.
