Main St DigitalLogo Design Contest

We provide digital marketing services (web design, SEO, PPC, etc) to small local businesses.

I think I already know what I want the logo to be like, I'm just here to crowdsource artists to execute the idea for me better than I can.

The primary color should be "close" to the color green you see on green street signs in the US.

But you have my permission to move it a little on the color wheel. Instead of plain green, you could maybe go more teal, or in the other direction - more lime. Or it could be lighter or darker than the street sign.

It doesn't have to perfectly match the color of a real street sign, but it should be somewhere in that neighborhood. I want it to be very modern looking (since it is a digital agency), so you can be creative and shift the color scheme a little to achieve a modern look.

I'm not saying I necessarily want this exact color scheme, but here's an example of a modern, green-based scheme I like that doesn't exactly match the color of a street sign:

Here's what I am picturing for my logo, but you guys are the artists, so I am open to your alternate ideas. Maybe you'll come up with something better than my idea.

My idea:

Start with a basic green rectangle with "Main St" text in white. Just like a street sign.

Side note: Don't spell out "Street." I just want "St," for a variety of reasons that aren't really important to explain right now...

Now, I imagine the right end of the sign kind of dissolves into those digital blocks you see on many techy logos like this:

Then I guess "digital" would be in small letters along the bottom or something.

So the symbolism is that we are bringing modern digital solutions to small mom and pop shops on Main Street.

At first glance, the logo should be identifiable as a street sign for Main Street, but it kinda transitions to digital...
