126 is fun. Let me see how our staff feels about this direction. It's completely different than all the others, but I like the humor...not as corporate. Thanks for the effort!
could you also do one where you just have the words the way you have it now, same font, and do the little lines around the words instead of the TV...as if the words were giving off some energy?
Hello CH, thank's for your comments :-) I've done a version without the tv & cat illustration and I think it works very well. So perhaps it's an idea to have two versions, with and without the illustration, depending on what use it's for...
I have to say, I'm rooting for you on this one. Entries #126 and #86 -- brilliant. I was even in the process of designing the very same concept -- I kid you not -- complete with a cat, spread out "garfield-style," stuck to the TV. I came back the next day, and saw it....and said, 'oh, crap.' So, I'll live vicatriously through this designer; it's fabulous work.
In my opinion, all other logos I've seen here in this competition don't do anything but put an 'M' in front of the viewer with some added gloss or radiant lines...nothing remarkable. If I was a potential client, I sure wouldn't think your logo said anything special about your company. Those other logos are very 'blah' in my opinion. And what do they say about television? Humor? You? Nothing. You're just an 'M' in their minds. Not effective, and certainly not worth your time or money.
Anyhow, enough said. Hope you get the design your company truly needs. Have a fabulous day.
I am on the road today and tomorrow and will get comments back to you by Monday. I need to get input from a few more people. Thanks for putting in the time.
Re :143...We like the simplicity of this--and could use it even in addition to the one with the cat on the tv. Could you do one more where the little force lines are just a little bolder and more prominent in relation to the words? And could you make "productions" also just a little stronger?
Also, is the word Magnetic using an existing font or did you create it? We dig it!
Hi again, sorry about this late response, but I've been away for some days. Anyway, here is #143 with a little bit fatter lines and PRODUCTION with a bolder version of the same font as before. I don't think the lines should be fatter than this because the they will take away the focus on the name. MAGNETIC is in a font called Cracked, I think it's very suitable for this logo :-) Hope you like this. Personally I like the cat because it's a clear idea.
Hello, I've done some smaller adjustments on this one. I've added a "shadow" on the cat and the television, and PRODUCTIONS is now in bold. And I've made a version on black background. I showed this one to my dog, and she liked it.
Hi again Magnetic people, here is a version of my logo with just touch of gradient in the colours. To much gradient doesn't suit this style of illustration I think. Good luck with choosing your logo :-)
