Thanks for submitting. I like this style with the magazine below so I ranked it #1 for now. Can you try a few fonts or versions with the magazine thicker or not touching the "ee"? Maybe it could have more pages? I didn't pick up at first that it was a magazine but it only took a minute. This is my first contest so I'm not sure how it works with feedback and all, but I really do like your design best. I will be checking in with my business partner tomorrow so I hope he agrees. Thanks again.
Thanks for the quick updates, the bigger magazine looks good, but we prefer the tagline below and to the right like you had in #8 so there probably isn't room. #8 is still my favorite overall. I got in touch with my business partner and he also likes the magazine graphic you came up with so we're really hoping to further develop this concept. Can you try putting the ZEENERY in the font we uploaded (so the Y doesnt curve below)? Maybe another font too? Spacing will be the issue here so I think the magazine graphic should go back more towards #8 but with 3 or 4 pages on each side (so really just thicker than #8, not wider than it). We're not sure about overlapping with the EE, it might have to for spacing...we'll see. Looking forward to your next designs...
Thanks for the additional designs. There's 2 more we'd love to see:
FIRST- #8 (same font and colors for now) with the magazine graphic from #18 instead. I don't think it will fit as is so maybe the mag should be less wide like you did in #19 and #20.
SECOND- #18 (same font and colors for now) with adding the tagline from #8 (same font and color of that tagline) below and stretched to fit across the entire logo.
revision 2: I tried expanding the slogan but the kerning doesnt look good. The slogan is not long enough to stretch the whole length of Zeenery. My solution is to enclose it in another piece of paper, with a simple fold out at right bottom corner. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
Once again, thanks for the quick revisions! As of now I like #24 the best. I agree with your comment about the tagline stretching so I'd prefer to work with the setup like #24. If you don't mind can you do a few more of those? I still want to see some other versions. I think we're getting real close!
1) The mag lower so it isn't touching the EE and is even with the tagline. I think the pages will have to be smaller so please do what you can to make sure if clearly looks like an open magazine.
2) Try the mag again below the ZEEN and not touching, but centered on the first E, rather than in between the EE. I hope that's clear. Then the pages can be even wider than they already are, and it can be lined up with the tagline.
Thanks! I think #27 is winning now. I came up with more I'd like to try and I don't even know if there's anything left after this. Please make some more, your designs are GREAT.
1) #27 with the mag starting at the beginning of the Z so it's bigger, and doesn't have to be centered on the E above it. Maybe if it looks better with some relation to the text above, then the break in the mag could be in between the Z and the first e. Since the Z is bigger, then the right side pages in the mag can stretch into the second e. I think the mag would look really clean with the left half exactly under the Z.
2) #18 without the underline y and instead use the y from most others, like #27. Wer'e pretty sure that we want the tagline included but we also love the big mag covering the whole zeen. We just don't like the long y. I'm sure you included it to even out the mag but we'd like to see it with the mag alone on the second line.
3) Is there any way you can think of to have #18, but WITH the tagline underneath the ery? I doubt it fits but we'd love to see that somehow.
Thank you very much for all of the new designs. We like a couple of them as much as #27. I think at this point you've given us all options with this style so I'm going to work with others. I can pretty much tell you right now that you'll get at least 2nd place. Feel free to try others if you get moved down to 2nd, but I really don't know what else can be done.
