What We Do
We celebrate and advocate for the preservation of historic places in the Madison, Wisconsin, area.
We believe that historic places are cultural resources and that their rehabilitation, restoration and preservation are vital to a sustainable approach to redevelopment of older parts of our community. We believe historic places are critical to cultivating a civic identity and sense of place.
Our target audience is historic property owners (small historic homes), prospective & current members, donors & government officials.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We want to represent an established, trusted organization with a modern touch to show that we are moving forward while still maintaining our historic roots. Our image is more small, historic homes as opposed to castles or large structures.
The full organization name needs to be included in the logo (Abbreviations are ok, but you need to include the entire name somewhere). We like the idea of being able to extract part of the logo to act as a symbol/logo mark. Illustrations should be simple and/or abstract to work with many treatments (i.e. web, print, merchandise) and sizes (i.e. favicon).
