Our Ideas & Additional Information
This is a pilot for a television show that has not aired yet.
There’s a lost sense of pride in the handmade goods that made this country great, from automobiles to textiles, appliances to sporting goods. With a raised awareness of where things come from, from our produce to our oil, so too has there been attention paid to where our stuff is made.
One goal of this show is to highlight some of the great things still made in this country and to shine a spotlight on the people behind those products.
Another goal is to demonstrate the true skill. By training the hosts to make the products we all know and love, to perform just one of the million tasks that goes into the production of these goods, we hope to show that not just anybody, particularly the hosts of the show, can do this, can make these beautiful things. To show the value of working with your hands to make something we wear or use every day.
While, say a baseball glove, cowboy boot, automobile, wheat field and denim jeans could all be associated with Made Right Here, we are trying not to show it in the logo. We will be doing episodes that showcase all industries and don't to pigeon hole the logo to one or a few sectors.
Please no American flags.
Thanks and good luck.
