Lux InkLogo Design Contest

We create custom laser engraved designs on jewelry and accessories. Our target audience are individuals who want a custom design on a high quality metal accessory, often providing the graphic/design themselves.

Black, white and grey are all good options however I am open to experimenting with all colours.

I want to convey a sense of refined luxury and elegance. The process of laser engraving is very precise and it would be good to incorporate that characteristic somehow in the logo. Leaning more towards a minimalistic logo however I'm open to including more creative and complex designs. The ideas behind the name "Lux Ink" are that "Lux" has a meaning of both light, reflecting the laser part of the business as well as luxury. "Ink" conveys the idea of how the light (lux) engraves a design onto something, hence "Ink". I would like to see these ideas incorporated within the logo. I appreciate some elements of my current logo being incorporated however I am looking for something new and refreshing.
