#2 is very interesting. I like the incorporation of the ribbon into the name. The feel is a bit too comtemporary though and doesn't convey the feeling of a luxury brand. The company is a chocolatier company so either chocolate or chocolatier should be incorperated, if the slogan is too. The feeling that should be conveyed is similar to Tiffany and Co., Mercedez, Godiva, etc. [it would be nice to see some all caps versions and all lowercase versions] Overall a very good start.

#5 and #7 are very impressive and on the right track. Chocolate or chocolatier should probably be added where "Fine. Artisan. FAIR." is. #4 and #6 I like but I don't think you really can see that it is an "O".

#3 I like the creativity, but the feel is a little too earthy. There needs to be a feeling of BOTH eco-friendly and luxury but more on the luxury end.

#3 (please see comments from Oct 7 - I accidently wrote the wrong sample number but it is corrected now) There is no cause ribbon, which is a CRITICAL piece. Also, yes I like playful but it needs to be more "flirty playful" rather than "cute-sie playful" if that makes sense. Think more Hollywood than Disneyland! Hope that helps.

#8 I LOVE IT. It is interesting that you put the cause ribbon on its side, which is what concerns me. Though the design is beautiful and you captured the "feel" of the company perfectly, there still needs to be an underlying statement about the cause (which comes through the cause ribbon). I see the cause ribbon but I am concerned that it may get lost to someone who is not familiar with the brand. Also, I love that you incorporated the heart but I am concerned the "o" may not be read and it may become "Love Fair" with a heart in the middle, which is probably why #2 used a different "o" for the heart.

#9 and #10 Love the creativity but the "feel" is wrong. I do not get "luxury brand" from these logos. Comments for #3 also apply in many ways to #9 and #10 as well.

#10 I do like the "o" though it looks like a piece of chocolate candy, which I love!

#11 My favorite "L" so far. I LOVE that there is a heart in the "L" it's subtle and beautiful. The problem is that there is no cause ribbon incorporated into this design.

#12 and #13 ALMOST PREFECT. The cause ribbon MUST be DARK BROWN, but I love the feeling of gold on dark it is the EXACT feel of luxury I was going for.

#14 There needs to be a dark brown cause ribbon incorporated into the design, but I do like what you have done. If there was a cause ribbon it would be ranked higher.

#15 Very cute. I like the creativity a lot. I like that it says "Chocolatier" Still a little too earthy though.

#16 Beautiful and I love that there are hearts between the words BUT there is no dark brown cause ribbon.

#17 I prefer the original (#8) Maybe rotate the ribbon in #8 90 degrees so it is straight?

#18 I like it and it is very cute but the feel is still not refined and elegant enough. However, a good friend of mine (actually the person who told me about this site) likes your designs the best.

#19 Don't like the crooked "L"

#20 I like it but prefer #21 However, I do like that the "Chocolatier" in #20 is a bit smaller.

Client
#21 though I love the "o" as a heart. I think it is a bit of an overkill, which makes the design just one step above what I would like in the cuteness factor -- just one too many hearts.

#22 love that you used the gold to outline the ribbon.

However, as much as I love the dark backgrounds, please keep in mind that this is going to be printed on recycled paper. If you are going to use a dark background, please create an emblem type design where the name is enveloped by some shape to incorporate the dark color. example: dark brown oval with the gold writing inside. If you have questions and I am not clear please let me know.

#28 Definitely on the right track. However, though personally pink is one of my favorite colors, I do not think it will fit with the image/identity of this company. Using pink for this logo will be VERY tricky, may be better to avoid.

#29 LOVE IT! The perfect feel. One concern is that because the bottom design is shorter than the top. I think it may be unbalanced when printed on oval or round labels/stickers. I do like the solid line though.

Client
#30 LOVE IT! I did prefer the solid line but I think that you did a great job keeping the eye more on the name by breaking up the border lines with stripes rather an solid, which may overpower the outer lines. One concern is that this design may be overly feminine. We LOVED it but we are both women and we do not want to become an overly feminine brand and alienate some men. Though I think they are subtle and beautiful and I love hearts, maybe this overly feminine feel can be overcome by replacing/removing the hearts.

#21, #22, #32 's advantages are that there is a signature type cause ribbon that can stand on it's own in some areas of marketing materials and still be identified with our brand.

#31 nothing wrong but just chose to rank the white background. If there is a difference between #30 and #31 please point it out. Thanks.

#32 Thank you for the change. You did it perfect. For some reason it just looks better on its side in #8.

#33 just preferred the non-interlocking in #32.

Client
#35 love the designs above and below the name. Also, I think your use of hearts is very good -- not too overpowering. Please see Oct 10 comments for #16 about dark backgrounds. I am not fond of the airbrush look either.

#30 I would like to see how a lowercase "o" in "o' " would look too.

#38 still too dark.

#39 I still like the designs on the top and bottom but the design overall needs some more refinement.

Client
#40 and #41 I LOVE the emblem ribbon/"L" but the logo design in #40 is too contemporary and not refined and luxury feeling enough. #41 I love but it cannot stand on its own without a full logo to go with it.

Client
#42 through #48 I am getting outside opinions on these. Thanks for all the options. But for #46 and #47 the ribbon is touching the "c" in chocolatier but not in the others and I think they look better in the ones where there is a space.

Client
#49 Love the "o" but it needs a cause ribbon in incorporated into the logo design and though I really like it the design is too similar to Jacques Torres Chocolate at http://www.mrchocolate.com/

#50 I really like the lower part. It is very elegant and refined but I am not very fond of the font for "love o' fair" Also there needs to be a dark brown cause ribbon incorporated somewhere into the logo design.

Client
#51 I prefer #50 because I like the design with the elegant line.

Client
#52 Love the "r" at the end but the "o" is a little to cute-sie and I think that to some people may not see that it is an o if they are not familiar with the brand. It may look like Love Fair. But this design is a very big improvement in the refinement and elegance area.

#53 Wow SO nice! Very much improved. I really like it. However the ribbon must be dark brown and I think the words inside the design look off center.

#56 I am glad you added a dark brown cause ribbon but without the dark background it just isn't as luxurious. Check out #22, that designer incorporated the dark background AND dark brown ribbon.

#63 probably tied for first right now. However, it has been suggested that the "F" is a bit overpowering.
