Hi-- I really like the idea of #29 but I'm not sure about the font. For #13, do you think you could put the tree in the middle of the medallion instead of the flame? You can knock out "school for" and just keep Louchheim (I think it might be spelled with two c's in the entry rather than ou) and Judaic studies. The family really likes the tree, so I think I'd also like to see it in #14 and #15. Thank you VERY much!
#33 tree is based on one that my sister designed for Kallah many many years ago - and it has many symbols in the tree itself... might need to be revised more if that is a direction you want.
can do more adjustements if you want... and try a different font for 29 if you want to suggest a serif or san serif or ?
I like #37's tree; I think that's the direction I want to go. #34 has a two many stars in it, I think. The font of #38 is much better--I think sans serif is probably better between the two columns. And yes! on #35--I think that looks great. Is that book already a set image or could you add some Hebrew lettering on the page? Maybe just an aleph or a bet. Thank you!
Hi Carol, One more request--sorry! I really like your first design #1. But I'm surprised to find that I prefer the tree and the book over the flame. Could you try to use the new tree (of #37 or even Paula's tree in #33) in the design of #1? Or does that ruin its look? Thank you--
Hi Carol, People like the trees in #34, #37 and #43 best. Would you be willing to shift the tree from the left side of the design to the right side in #37 so that it sort of shades the lettering? (I don't mean you need to put shade in just that the trees branches act like a canopy over the lettering.) Thank you!
Thank you for these new designs and edits! Is that a pomegranate in #108? We like that addition! And #106 looks great--thank you for the titles! We'd have to make them secular but that would be easy.
Hi, We'd very much like to see #108 in the teal/navy color scheme. And in #34, could you exchange the star for a pomegranate? We're moving away from the idea of a star of david and gravitating toward other symbols of learning. Also, could you be willing to try the tree in #34 in the #43 design and emphasize "Judaic Studies" there (with "The Louchheim School" on the second line). Thank you!
Hi again, Thank you so much for all of these--and for showing them in the one color scheme. Could you try the #142 and #143 tree in the #141 design? Also, we're thinking of returning to the idea of "building" images--implying or gesturing toward the idea of a college/school.
Hi Carol, Could you make one more revision for us please? Could you put the actual tree in #142 and #143 (with the pomegranate) into the circle of #140 and #141? We like the look of the thicker tree. And thank you for the building design!
Hi, Let's work on the font for #155. We'd like to see something a little bolder and fatter with a bit of a serif--not blocks but a font that can stand up to the integrity of the tree in the design. Thank you!
Hi, Thanks for the new fonts! Let's tweak # 171. Could you make both lines even (that is expand the spacing of the second line) and draw the teal separator line through to the end of both words? Thank you!
Hi Carol, Three things all for design #174: Can you move the circle to the left of the words? Can you switch the wording back to “Louchheim School For Judaic Studies” making “Louchheim School For” in smaller font size on the top line and “Judaic Studies” in larger size on the bottom line? Also, could you try one of those with “Louchheim School For” in the teal color while keeping “Judaic Studies” in the navy. Can you try a font that is more playful? We'd like make the logo more contemporary looking so perhaps a sans serif. Thank you VERY much!

Thank you! A couple more tweaks--and we're sorry to be bugging you about these small things!--could you try #178 without the line between the "Louchheim School for" and "Judaic Studies"? We think it looks a little bit better with Upper and Lower case letters (rather than all caps). Could you try #178 with that look as well?
Just moving my notes over from the public space.... Hi-- Three things all for design #174: Can you move the circle to the left of the words? The feedback we got is to make the logo more contemporary looking so perhaps a sans serif. Thank you!
Hi, Okay, now with #181, could you try it with all upper case letters (both lines) and then with just "Judaic Studies" in all caps. In that second version, could you lower case "for"? Thank you!
Hi Carol, You are the best for working with us on this. We're so grateful! Do you happen to have either Adobe Caslon Pro or National? These are the official USC typefaces: https://identity.usc.edu/print/typefaces/. I think using either of those will actually suit our needs the most. (We're sorry we didn't know about them before or we would have saved us all a lot of work.) Thank you!
Great Carol, thank you! We moved you out of first so we could get a couple of other changes from the other designers. We're so grateful for all your work on this!
Hi, We're back to some more tweaking based on the votes/opinions we've received. Could you re-do #43 (currently first in rank) using the Caslon Pro bold and semibold, switching the text so that "Louchheim School for" is on the top in the smaller size and lighter color and "Judaic Studies" is on the bottom in the navy?
Hi, One more--hopefully final--request. We are loving #192. Could you reverse the colors of the wording (so that "Judaic Studies" is in the teal and the first line in the navy)? Thank you VERY much!
