Our Ideas & Additional Information
We have seen a few logos with curved, undefined individual figures. We have liked these.
We are hoping for a logo that can communicate both our programs: individual counseling/therapy and youth afterschool/summer care. The undefined shapes help by not fitting just one program or the other, and help with gender neutrality as we serve a wide variety of individuals and families.
We don't want it to appear as a "standard" family, since so many people have diverse family make ups. We also don't want it to be just two people, but think three is the best number.
We like the image of the people in the sun - it could easily be seen as a group of kids playing outside OR as a group of people celebrating healing/recovery. The image doesn't match just one or other.
The slogan does not have to be included in the image.
The logo will need to be readily used on fliers, letterhead, business cards, etc. - as such, a "banner'' style probably works best.
Emphasis on the words "Los Alamos" is not needed, that's the name of our community. Family Council is the defining part of our name.
