The idea of a round logo is pretty nice but not sure that the initials are required inside the black/grey area. This area could be used to depict a Handball court and/or a London landmark instead. As for the players, they look too much like basketball players but it's nice to have dynamic players like that.
Can you work on the players to depict more clearly Handball players.
Can you reverse the colours to give us another option?
Is it possible with #47 to bring greater contrast with a brighter stronger red colour without losing depth and also to use it in the wording e.g. Red below London in white?
The players must change in order to win and to help that can you widen so design becomes more landscape than portrait and offers the chance to show a better image of London e.g. wider skyline or one London landmark that identifies London without having to read it. The London Eye is popular in the group as is Tower Bridge. Thanks
The group would like to be able to identify more with the London skyline and be able to pick out recognisable shapes. Big Ben is also one of the landmarks people are looking for . Thanks
Enzo, #93 Much better but still needs a little work on the player shooting the ball. It looks like a slam dunk.
Colours to full red bodied please to fit design brief - red, black and white.
If you can turn the player into clearly dynamic Handball it's going to go a long way to winning and it might be strengthened if there is only one player depicted.
#122 & #123 - slightly different colour versions of #86 & #117. The original two designs were produced using Pantone colour which is good for printing but doesn't always translate very well on screen and can lose brightness. The two new versions use RGB colour which looks better on screen and gives a better representation of the red. Hope that makes some sense.
Just to let you know what we are doing at the moment:
After the contest finished last Tuesday we have begun a public vote.
Please encourage your friends, family and others to vote for their favourite logo - we would like to have the widest view.
On Monday evening the management group will assemble and we will take account of the public vote and will have an Olympic style voting competition - round by round - to find the winning logo.
Then we will choose the winner on the site.
We would like to have black and white versions of the winning logo and will be pleased to receive any other suggestions you make.
Sorry that we are not making an early decision but we wanted to try and take the widest opinion before making our own choices based on personal preference.
Thanks for all your efforts in what was a fantastic contest.
Please make sure you vote for your logo by visiting our web page and please encourage others to do so too.
