Thank you for your work and effort in creating a logo for us. It is much appreciated. Amongst your designs #43 is our favourite and #38 is also nice. The only issue with #38 is that we feel it is rather too simple, particularly the design in the letter 'O'. The only suggestion we can make for #43 is to possibly try and create a version that will make the letter 'C' just slightly more distinguishable in the logo. At the moment we feel that it reads L G when looking at is very quickly.
I hope these suggestions are useful and thank you once again for your efforts.
Thank you very much for the feedback, it was very useful. I made some variants of #43 (#80, #81, #82, #83) in which I made letter C more distinguishable, according to your comments, and also I created two new versions of #83 with a different coin (#87, #88).
We think nr. 33 and 35 are very interesting as they convey a campany with alot of energy, young and modern and they also give us a symbol to work with. Nr 43 is our prefered because the letters are interlocking but we would prefer it to be a more modern version. We also like nr 38. the fact that the symbol "O" is very abstract is very interesting (what is inside the O?), we are worried how it wuld be used as th massing of the letters makes it quite difficult to use. Very interesting effort, thank you!
My goal was to give you a variety of styles in order to choose the one that represents your brand more effective.
Personally I like a lot #33, #35 because they've got an original, elegant style, different than any other logos with initials. These versions can create a 'strong' brand identity. In #38 inside O I placed an abstract pattern with scratches to underline the ancient character of the coins. Finally #43 has a more classic look.
I guess it all depends on your personal preferences!
33, 35 are very interesting but couldn't the letters interact more? Also we also wonder why nobody ever thinks of doind something with the title itself? Thank you great work!
I don't know... #44 has a classic style with these specific fonts. Which direction is your favorite? I think you're torn between modern and classic look. Please let me try some variations of #33.
Some new ideas, #133, #134, #135 more on the direction of a wordmark. In #135 I placed inside letter O some small circles in gold and silver to portray the variety of coins your gallery has. Hope you find it interesting!
Thank you and congratulations! we are very fond of 43, 38 and 35 although they are very different. We are torn between modern and classic as the product itself can be both, but the outlook of the enterprise is a very modern one wanting to attract as well as older clientele young people who would be interested in coin-collection - making in a word coin-collecting trendy. Nr 43 although elegant is a classic logo we are wondering if it could become more modern? Nr. 35 is very interesting but the sign is not reading very well. Nr. 38 is too square as a whole
It's very nice to know that you like my designs. At the moment I am out of my office but tomorrow morning I'll submit new variations of your favorite designs. Thank you very much for your feedback. Talk soon! Pink
Dear Pink, thank you for your work, we think there is a need to rethink how the logo is created as the variations do not expess the dynamism of the company. Although we like what you have designed not one of the variations of your designs have left us very happy. We think it would be an idea to start fresh, you have seen what we like, please use your creativity to create something exiting!
Sorry that I haven't managed to create something that you'll 100% like. As I noticed you're leaning towards more modern style of designs so I'll try to think of something different.
Thank you Pink, we are wondering if 203 and 204 could be developed, the symbol in 203 seems interesting but is not specific to either brand or product, it should not be literal to a coin but not so unspecificific either. 207 and 208 are probably not relevant to our product. We need to have a symbol as well.
Hello, I'll try to build more on #203 & #204. Since many collectors believe that their collections are a small piece of art, an artistic approach might be the right direction for your logo. Thank you Pink
Some new options #245, #246, #236 before the end of your logo contest. I tried to create a symbol, as you wanted, that combines your gallery's initials with an artistic drawing of a coin.
Dear Pink, it seems we are not getting what we need, after further discussion in the office we thought that the coin is not the symbol that should be shown on the logo as it is written. On the other hand none of the designers in the contest worked with the idea of the relief i.e. the way images and letters are represented on the coin. Also for your case we were wondering how nr 43 would look without the circle, in gold or in black. Thank you
Hello, As I understand you want something simple and clean for your logo, balanced between classic and modern. Some options might be #256, #257, #258. In #256 & #257 I modified letter N in order to give more impact to the logo.
Regarding relief idea. Personally I don't think that adding a 3D texture would be nice. It will give an old fashioned look, which you want to avoid, plus it will make logo's application difficult especially in small sizes.
Thank you for your efforts. We would like to make a few modifciations before selecting the final winner. We like both versions #45 and #259. The changes are:
- We would like to see a version where the 'Ltd' is placed vertically at the end of the 'S' of the word 'Galleries' - We like the style of the letter 'C' in LCG but when looking at it for the first time, it looks like L(dot)G as the end of the letter C has a dot in the end of it. Do you think we could change this? - After the above have been done, we would like to experiment with colours for version #43 and try various fill colours or effects to give it a more elegant but modern look. - If we were to choose you as the winner, would you be able to provide us with two versions (for example #45 and #259)?
Thank you in advance and we hope you are enjoying this festive season.
Looking forward to your response at your earlies convenience.
Thank you for your response. Please check my following variations: #297, #298, #299, #300, #301
I experimented with different effects and also I modified C letter by removing its rounded edge that looked like a dot. Since #43 & #259 have the same concept, if you select me as the winner I can provide you with both similar versions.
Thank you for your updated logos. We very much like #301. Could we please
Thank you for experimenting with #297-300. Would it be possible to try a few more colours particularly with variations of taupe or something similar (grey, brown maybe bronze)? A colour like a Weimaraner, Portobello mushroom or slightly more bronzier?
Could we also try a few logos where the outer part of the circle is filled with a colour? For example black letters and the outer part of the circle filled with black as well.
Finally, could we also see a variation where the border of the outer circle is slightly thicker?
In my new entries I've applied solid colors, I'm not sure if you wanted that or if you prefer gradients. Personally I believe that Pantone solid colors, which I used, are more 'reliable' and work better on printing applications. So I made the following variations according to your color preferences: #302, #303, #304, #305, #306 Please let me know your thoughts.
If we don't communicate again until today evening I wish you Merry, Joyful Christmas for you and your loving ones.
I would be glad to work with you for future projects. Unfortunately at this phase, designers aren't allowed to give their contact details to clients before the end of the contest (LogoTournament has very strict rules and I'll be banned). After the end of the contest it will be a pleasure to send you my personal email for further collaboration.
Thank you for your email. We think we like #304 and #301. Some very minor changes:
For #304 -could you change the font to #43. We would like to see a version with less bold letters. -just out of interest, could you please prepare a version without the outer circle?
for #301 -could you please change the font to #259. The letters currently look slightly heavy/chunky. -could you please also produce a version of this logo like #260.
We trust your aesthetics and please make any other minor changes that you believe would make the logo look chic and elegant.
The font I used from the start was Trajan Pro (bold). In my recent drafts #304, #301 I outlined it and as a result it looked a bit thicker. Another option in to use Trajan Pro (regular) as in #318, #319, #320, #321, #322. The above drafts are also the variations that you required.
Regarding colour between #304 and #306 the only alternative I found - in Pantone - was #322. I'll wait for your thoughts.
Thank you for your email. Many wishes to you and your loved ones for the New Year!
Thank you for your efforts regarding the logo. We have selected you as the winner.
We would be grateful if you could upload versions #318, #319, #322 and if it is possible to do a version like #322 without the outer circle (like #321) and a black and white version with all the circles.
We thank you in advance and hope you have a nice evening.
Thank you very much for selecting my work. I've uploaded the required EPS and JPG images of the winning design (#318) for review. Please after review them click the "Approve" link next to the contest name in order for payment to be processed.
Regarding all the additional versions that you mentioned I will be emailing them directly to your personal email (nicholasm_greek@hotmail.com).
