On my entries I've tried to avoid generic logos with initials within round shaped logo icon,...these type of designs are way overused and it is very hard to copyright/trademark protect it! So, here are a bit out of the box logos, but unique and pro-looking.
On entries #96 and #97, there's spinning coin with Brit Pound symbol, as reference to coin/money/trading/selling, and on entries #98 and #99, you have more contomporary looking concept, with initials and abstract coin display, forming log icon,...there's also subliminal reference to fortres walls, as a subtle historical hint!
Hope you'll like these, and if you have some suggestions for potential improvements, feel free to let me know! Thank you!
Hi again! I'm glad you've recognized branding potential behind this design,...here are some updates (#174, #175). Feel free to suggest improvements! Thanks!
Bojan thank you and congratulations, the logo nr 152 is interesting, but it is very vertical and has many things happening, could it be simplyfied?. We like the fact that the letters themselves are the void (cut through the metal). We are also concerned if we need to print cards that the fact that it has shine and one more colour means that is not a two coloured logo anymore and that printing would be much more expensive.
Hi! Thanks for quick response and very constructive feedback!
You have a good point there, regarding printing expences, and I personaly prefer flat/2d design, but your business is closely related to metal, so for web use I would recommend you go with metal shine effects, and for printing use it is very easy to make flat/2D version of the logo.
...and you're right about keeping it within 2 color range! I'll make few modifications and show you what I mean. Be back soon!
...ok, I've made some proportional tweeks, with three versions, what is basicaly one logo, 3D version for web use (#176), flat version for printing (#177), and negative space version on #178. All are deliverable, since it is same logo design!
But if you think it is still too complex, I'll try different approach! Thank you for the feedback so far!
...on entries #182 and #183, there's simplified, more abstract/contemporary looking version of design you've liked best so far!
...on entries #184, #185, and #186, #187, there's new concept, with initials carved into metal coin. I've changed color combo, but that copper looking shade can be brought back,...also on this concept, I've used a bit more elegant font.
Again,...you should not limit yourself to only flat/2D design, because of printing expences,...as you can see, every design with 3D appearance, can also be turned into flat version,...since it is the same design, I have no problem delivering both variations. When finishing logo source files package, I usualy pack basic color version (3D), flat color version (2D), grayscale, black and white versions, because they all can be handy for some applications (printing, or web). Hope this was helpfull! Thank you!
...and on entries #196, #197, and #198, #199, there are really contemporary and pro-looking finishing touches on both of my design concepts.
...also, as architect and enterior designer, I actually took inspiration for these designs from the shop render you've provided, or to be more precise, from coin displays, presented there. I think both of the concepts could connect very nice with that enterior, but my favorite would be #198, #199!
Hope this little analysis helps as well! :) Cheers!
Bojan thank you very much, this has been very helpful, the analysis too. We think though that the logo seems too heavy. We prefer the one we chose to the new horizontal proposals. Seing your profile you create interesting and eye-catching symbols, we are wondering if you could rethink and propose another idea going away from the course now travelled that could be visualy exiting and lighter. Thank you very much
...I'm back with few more concepts! #230, without initials might be interesting, but there's variation with initials between two coins on #234, and one classic concept on #233! Hope you'll find them interesting! Feedback would still be great! Thanks!
...and there's one high-end looking monochronatic design on my entry #247, and it's black variation on #248! I've presented it monochromatic, because it'll significantly reduce printing costs, but, we can play with multi color and effects as well!
Dear BigBaldBeardo, We have been discussing in the office that the coin is not the symbol that should be shown on the logo as it is written in the text. On the other hand none of the designers in the contest worked with the idea of the relief i.e. the way images and letters are represented on the coin. Also we do not like miniscules sorry, will call you later much. We need something that is very simple, yet punchy and legible, could be the letters interlocking in a clever way or just a symbol... Thank you
Sorry I am rewriting it there has been a problem...

..and on my entries #261, #263 you have two potentialy interesting versions of one design,...on entries #262, #264 I've presented negative space versions! Any thoughts/suggestions!? Thanks!
...if you like the concept on #265, #266, we can try to tweek it proportionally a bit more,...there's still some room for those kind of improvements! Thanks!
...updated designs on #267, #269, and #271,...negative space versions on #268, #270 and #272!
Design #269, #270 has already found its place in my personal portfolio,...so far it received some pretty good reviews,...hope you'll like it as well! Thanks!
...still having fun with this design! :) #284, with some shadows added to increase 3D effect! ...this is also transformable to flat, like in #274! Cheers!
Design concept on my entries #176 / #177 is a bit "out of the box" and therefore would be recognizable/memorable branding solution, but I'm really hoping you'll change your mind about design #269 / #270, and not because it is my design, but because it is objectively most unique and best proportionaly balanced logo design on this contest. I've included it in my personal portfolio and it draw some serious attention from professional design community,...not talking about LT community! :) Hope you'll recognize it as well!
With this final, hopefully constructive input, I will conclude my participation on your contest! Thank you for cooperation in developing few HQ design concepts!
