This product is a very new and is currently under manufacture for distribution in Australia and New Zealand

LOK4 has been designed and developed by Locksmith Trader Forums and is being privately manufactured by Locksmith Trader Pty Ltd who provides and hosts the forum.

The intent is for LOK4 participating locksmiths will be the only businesses that will have access to the product and the hardware and common key cutting non locksmith sector will always be excluded.

While my company name is Locksmith Trader I really want a device that is principally if not totally LOK4

LOK4 is designed by Locksmiths for Locksmiths and I don't really want 'Locksmith Trader' necessarily in the device.
I know that this is about locks and keys but after 40 years in the industry I am a bit tired of keyholes and funny looking keys. Trying to be modern which is why I am getting help from you guys.

I think you guys are quite clever - it will be hard to decide
I find I am leaning towards the blue and green combination with a simple design. I do like a 3D effect but that probably conflicts with simplicity. I may want to emboss onto paper and maybe make a raised metallic option about the same size as say a Toyota logo

As well as using the design on a new website I will also be making a circular double sided window sticker about 150mm to 200mm in diameter for shop windows and also a sticker for a van to show that the locksmith is a member of the LOK4 group. While I haven't decided on a circle necessarily I am definitely 'off' shields, keys and keyholes as these devices have been done to death over the last 40 years.Therefore the circle might be part of your design or not. I am in your hands

I like the 'LOK' being one color and the '4' being the other color with the '4' being superimposed on the 'LOK or the other way around. You will have noticed that I like the blue and green but I am not keen on the lighter greens
Color is a powerful factor in my decision making- I must have been a woman in my past life. LOL (hate orange)
The circle incorporated did spark my interest especially as I will be doing stick on logos for shops and vans. (always hard to affix a sticker squarely on the door and a circle is more forgiving lol)

Lots of good stuff guys- thank you all very much. Many in the reject bin are really good but I have to sort out what works for me. I will take few days as I am away from home travelling at the moment. Yeah - I know- bad timing but I will get there be patient.
