We will select the winner now. We’d like to have this version (outlined) as well as a ‘filled in’, all white version (like you did in #461, for example), so that we can use it for things like embossing as well.
Hi Yingbu - Can you try just this logo with initials like this - but not "&". Putting the C first and the L similar to this picture?
Oh no - is there a place I can upload an image?
I apologize for the late timing on these requests. I am working in hospital right now and have had difficulty getting to a computer. I realize this is my fault and I am sorry. Thank you so much for all your patience!
Thank you. I think my request might be a little confusing. In #481, it seems you made the outline of the L thinner -- I want the actual width of the L, as seen in the markups here, to be thinner. As though the pen with which the L is written got finer, drawn with a fine-tip marker. Does that make sense? Such that the grey space within the L is less wide?
Thank you. We would like to finalize the winner of this contest, but want the L to be thinner before it closes. Is there a way to use this same L, but make the line less thick? We want it to be thinner and more feminine than the C. Thank you for all your help.
I don't think we have found the right script font for the L. Can you try 2-3 others that are more dainty/delicate? I like the one used in #461 or #475 better, can we wrap that L around the C?
Hi Yingbu - we love this design. It looks like an embossed presentation of your artwork. We will want to use this design not only in embossing, but also in print and possibly other executions. Please confirm for us that we will be able to this with the artwork you deliver and there is nothing else about the design that would not work for other presentations (print, foil, embossing, etc)
hi Yingbu - this looks great! Can you provide this one with a bit more of the "shield" outline like in #460 and a little more of your ironwork surrounding it and provide both variations of initials like in #461 and #389 (solid or outline - you decide what you prefer)? Also - what this might look like in other shapes - square,, oval, etc.
Hi Yingbu,
Please see that you are again ranked number one and able to upload.
I love the delicate ironwork. I would like to see it manipulated a little to be similar to a family crest, as seen in the new reference photo. Would love to see any design thoughts you have on how to convert your ironwork into more of a crest.
Thank you!
I agree, I very much like it with the thinner iron work and no lanterns or columns. Still looking for other fonts.
Please look at the new reference photo I added to the contest. I like when the letters interconnect, but I also like the letters seen there. I do not want the "&" sign. I like fonts similar to that photo, delicate script.
I would like to use the ironwork you created here, as it is my favorite, beautiful. Use of additional Rosecliff details may also make me like it more. I want more open space inside with the letters. Please use the new photo for inpiration as to how to alter this logo.
I will replace you as first tomorrow for any uploads you create.
we can work on this one since the ironwork on this one is thinner now...then i think its better the other font will fit in this one... i will just remove the lantern and the square square pattern.
Thank you! I like the thinner iron work, it allows the initials to look less crowded.
I do not like the square pattern, however. I also do not think I like the lanterns or columns, as they look too modern. I would like this to look delicate and timeless, classic, vintage. Like an old royal crest. It is still too modern looking.
I also do not like these initials as much. The C is too plain and round, and I do not like the way the L curves down. The other fonts were better, but am still looking for different options.
here's the more thinner iron work in the design., i also add the square pattern etching outside the building..and i also add the lantern on both side as it is the only element that fit to that overall design...i also make the C modern and the L thinner and new font...
Hi! We are loving this design, and have a couple thoughts we'd love to see play out.
1. could you please play with the initials, and give us a few different font styles where the L still wraps around the C? We'd like to see some non-serif fonts, including some vintage styles and some modern looking fonts for the C. We would also like some different L options in script fonts, where it is still feminine and airy.
2. Could you play with some ways to add detail from the Rosecliff building architecture to this? maybe from the etching outside, or the chandeliers inside? or from the column marble?
3. can we see a version or two where there is more white space around the initials? this may mean decreasing the width of the wreath/decorative circle, or thinning the initials.
4. could you place the iron work in a shape surrounding a shield-shaped crest with a thin outline? we are liking a shield shape more than the diamond shape.
Thanks for these! I am interested in something similar but where the lines are finer, thinner, less bold. If you type "vintage wedding crest shield" into google, I'd like something sort of like those in line width, so that it seems delicate. However, I want it to incorporate detail seen on the in the photos I provided, such as the marble etching. I could also be interested in a shield shape.
I love the depth and dimension you've added to the decorative element surrounding the initials! My only comment is about the initials themselves - I would love to see the "C" look more masculine while maintaining the femininity of the "L". Thanks!
Hi - love your designs! However, the circle on the inside in this execution and on the inside and outside of 338 are not working. It feels like it closes off the design as opposed to leaving it lighter and open. Can you also try something to make the "C" a bit more masculine. I love the way you loop the L around the C, but would like the C to appear more manly.
Hi, Yingbu - very elegant design. Can you intertwin or otherwise connect the initials in a way to communicate a union (like a marriage)? FYI, The bride is "L" and the groom is "C". Thanks!
