Hi Jsboley,
Is there any part of another designer's logo design that you're interested in? If so, just mention the entry, and I'll contact the designer to create a collaboration.
Hi dezig,
I am liking this more! Thank you for all of your hard work. I like the shield shape within the outer marbling. I would like the letters to look more delicate, and for there to be more white space, so that it does not look cramped.
Please look at the new reference photo I added to the contest. I like when the letters interconnect, but I can also like the letters not touching or intertwining, as seen in the new photo. I do not want the "&" sign. I like fonts similar to that photo, delicate script.
I'd love if you could keep (or add!) your Rosecliff specific details from this design, and, if possible use some of your details from the iron work like #264, to create a more refined, delicate version of the shield crest.
thank you for the reminder! I would love to see any other ideas you have for how to make this delicate and vintage. One option might be a thinner font for the initials, and thinner inside shield shape. I'd also like to look at other fonts, as I have not yet seen one I like. Likely script fonts that are delicate and thin.
This is very pretty! I would love to see what else we can do with the initials. I would also like the iitals and inner lining to be more delicate, less contrasted to the delicate outer lining.
I like this shape! Would love to see the letters be as discussed -- where the C is bold and masculine with a different font for the L, such that they intertwine.
I'd also like to keep the lines more delicate. If you type "vintage wedding crest shield" into google, you will see what I mean. However I'd like to maintain the details from the photos I provided.
This is one of my favorites! Curious to see the embellishments on the initials in gold, as they are on the wrought iron gates. My only concern is that the initials might get lost - wouldn't't want the initials to fade into the background design!
Hi Dezig - your background is exquisite! What can you do for the initials - would love differentiate the initials as the L is for her and the C for him. Can we better establish a union between the two initials (as in marriage)?
The frame element of entries #186 and #187 is one of the elements taken from 'RoseCliff', except that I varied it a little to make it look less complicated.
So pretty - thank you. Can you remove the "&". Also on your other versions with the circle around the initials - where is that design coming from? Is it part of anything at RoseCliff? If not - can you update one version with a circle or shield or square or even a just the top portion of a square only over the initials that includes something from the architecture of Rosecliff Mansion (something small from the reliefs over the door or windows, statues...)
This is pretty, but the design elements are irrelevant and not connected to Rosecliff. I really want to see designs that incorporate elements of the wedding venue. Please check the latest comments I've posted to the general contest page for direction. You have a beautiful sense of artistry and I really want to ese what you can do. Also, serif font only, and only use the couple's first initials (L and C). Lose any other copy (like "The Wedding"). Thanks!
