You seem extremely versatile in your business...the ability to adjust and change with each client. My idea is to show versatility in your logo...a very elegant roman type face surrounded by a very ornate script face screened back for texture.

I like the simplicity, but I can't really see the ornate script in the back to see what you were going for. Also, would it be possible to make the first letters of my first and last name ( "L" and the "D" )larger than the other letters of my name?

Color can be added, i just wanted to show you this concept and see what you thought. Logos have to work in black and white first..then color should be added. This concept integrates my first idea, but brings the ornamental element forward.

Hey Liz....what i've gone and done is soften the black and change to a mid gray that you are a fan of. I also changed the font to something that has sharper serifs to add elegance. I really like how the "Y" in this font with it's subtle change from having all serifs. I also adjusted the tangent at the base of the "L" to align with the baseline of the rest of the text.

same as before, but kerned the "EVENTS" word more to add more width to the overall visual impact of your logo

scaled back slightly on the dominance of the "L". enlarged the "EVENTS" a tiny bit to help the balance of your logo

Another thought? Can you make the "EVENTS" a touch bigger and the Curly-cue heart "L" just a tiny little smaller.

Also -- am I correct in thinking that the logo would be able to be adjusted to any color once I had the file and then I could drop it on any color background based upon the color chosen for the logo. ( giving me flexibility)
So that I would not have to have it in a "white box".

I just looked back at entry #15 that is grey. Can we look at that in black. It's cool what you did with "events".

FYI: My comment about black was just referring to the background. I just don't like the black background. Black font is cool.

I'm thinking I might use Red or Deep burgundy on a white business card. Conversely, I'm thinking about a burgundy card with the logo in an appropriate color.
Thanks

Heyyyy....i've updated #15 in black. There will be no problems at all on changing colors and all of that. If you want, i can add color to this logo. Not a problem at all.

Ok

Let's look at submission #26 in red with the "events" spaced underneath like #10 also in red. It may not fit completely underneath - - you justify left a little more.

Thanks

not a problem...posting now!...i didn't make it a full intense red...i made it a little bit more of a wine red. Let me know if that's what you were thinking or not.

You are very welcome and i really do appreciate it. I also appreciate the opportunity. Yeah, these can get pretty intense sometimes. I've only done a few, but they are fun to do.

Is there anything you would like to see with my concept of your logo? i like that you are getting script/handwritten ideas...after seeing those, this is just an idea that i would like to toss out for you, you should make your own signature as a vector file. it would personalize it more and make it yours.
