I like #27, it has really good potential but I think I would like to see more "fun" colors. Thanks so much for your creative ideas and for participating in our contest.
Thank you for the feedback. I just uploaded several new versions with more vibrant colors. If there is any change you would like to see, or if you like the font of one with the icon of another one of my versions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Love it Marcelo! Thanks so much for the new submissions. There are a few we really like (85 and 77 in particular). I'm going to get with my partners in the next couple of days to go over them. You are definitely one of our top 5 designers at this point.
We are really loving your designs. While many of us like the colorful ones, they seem to be too much for some people. We are wondering if we could see a combination of #28 and #83.
What we like.. two conversation bubbles intersecting, in the 'wine stain' color (#27) the cityscape outline (not colored in) in maybe one solid color (dark) - even dark red or black would probably look okay the "get out...meet new people...have fun" in black because it's much easier to read when it's small the red and wine colors are good like the font
I hope I understood the requests correctly. Please let me know if I missed anything or if you'd like to see another version.
On #106 I went with a darker color just for the caps, to emphasize the LOL. I thought the distinction between the colors should not be too drastic, otherwise people will start to using LOL to shorten the name. The problem is that that LOL is so engrained in people's mind to mean "Laughing out loud" that it may cause a disconnect between your site and the name.
Also, is the site targeted to an adult crowd or will it be also used by underage people. I can always change the colors to make the stains look less like wine stains if this is an issue.
Please don't change the wine stains! We love that. The target audience will be adults only. And while we all love to socialize around wine, not everyone does...so that fact that it's very subtle is perfect. We love that part of the logo the way it is.
I have to say that you are the favorite designer of everyone I've talked to. We really like your work a lot. A couple of things... 1) Everyone seems to really love all of the color you've used 2) Although a couple of people said they were concerned about the rainbow effect signifying "gay pride". While that group will certainly be part of our audience, we don't want that to be the focus or impression.
With that in mind, could we maybe see the following: #85 - wtih "get out meet new poeple.." in black and the conversation bubbles connecting
#105 & #83 - a combination of the two to include the cityscape in old solid color (we like the blue and the red), with "Live Out Loud" in colors, and the "get out...meet new people..." in black
I understand all your concern completely. I made the changes as per your request and threw in a couple of more. On #144 I did the cityscape in the combo of the letter. This still adds color without too "rainbow" (btw - these colors can be changed, though it should probably only be kept to 2/3 color max, to avoid the rainbow flag look.
On #112, I went with a much more subtle tone and was surprisingly happy with the outcome.
