I like the addition of St. Charles, MO to #10. The new graphics for 12 & 13 are nice. Blends the letter art with a patch&crest concept. The patch just feels a little too stock art style ... especially the sunburst. That doesn't really fit our region. I like the addition of the properly styled target in #11 and the riser detail on the bow is a nice touch. The yellow portion is a bit too big. The kids wish they had that large of an area. :) #14 looks dangerously close to the other designers submission. You know the rules on that better than me. I had some bickering between designers on my last contest and just want to avoid that. But the sunburst thing really doesn't work.
Been focusing on the other designers and haven't left much for you. I still really like the word art. It stands alone with no competition. I can see some of the coaches leaning that way and away from the archer dudes. It would be helpful to see a few more variations on this. I like the word art with the sunburst patch...just not the sunburst patch. Would be nice to get the St. Charles, MO label added there.
Nicely done! That should do it. I will submit these on Saturday for the coaches to vote on and get back with you with the results or any tweaks if necessary. I appreciate your designs and being the first with an idea.
Way to sneak those last few designs in there. I didn't even see them until well after the judging period began. They made quite the impression. #93 made everyone's top 3 list.
Positive feedback: - Clean, professional, demonstrates excellence - Conveys all of the information about us with the right level of emphasis - Cross-functional application usable for all of our needs - Nice attention to detail incorporating the chest guard
Enhancement request: - Form. This is something I worked with the other designers on quite a bit as it was important for their designs to work. Yours stood on its own without being correct so it was something we could come back to. Now we need to fix it. o The right elbow is too high and the bow arm is raised to high. The arms and body need to be formed like a T. While this may not be graphically pleasing, the angle of the perspective could hopefully make up for it. o Need to straighten the lean. The figure needs to be upright with body centered, head squarely aligned to the spine. - Face detail - prefer the lack of detailing as on #69 - Prefer more gender neutral. It should not be immediately obvious whether the archer is male or female allowing the viewer to assign their own identity. Perhaps slightly less definition in the arms.
We would like to replicate this updated profile to the logo art on #93, 94, and 69. Please message me with your expected time frame so I can be sure to have your position available. I will switch 1st position to you in about 12 - 14 hours and leave it for half a day. Let me know if you need more time or have any questions.
Yep. Had to give other designer a chance for modifications. I'll leave you in first for the rest of today to give you a chance. I'll try to give some feedback tonight or in the morning.
Great job incorporating all of the feedback. The sleeves were a perfect touch. I'm not too sure about the visor. Not something we would wear, but I get the idea. I guess it helps to hide the hair which looks tricky to deal with for a silhouette.
I guess the only other thing I might offer is the red lettering could be a problem. It appears the coaches are leaning towards a red shirt to apply this logo on. Any red edges would blend funny or get lost. That isn't something to worry about before our final vote as we will be sure to adjust that before closing if they choose your design.
