Thank you for your entries. I am very impressed by your portfolio and fresh look. I invite you to take great liberty with design and not follow the themes we have already seen. In fact, can you show us something entirely different? Maybe No bulb at all? Thick customized fonts are preferred.
Your work for One 6 Yoga, TechReBuy, World Lounge, Recognize, Avid Golf and many others were the look we are seeking.
We may have made a mistake by giving a sample of the old logo... we really want something new and very different. What would you have done without our initial guidance? Bulb tilted on it's side? Based on your past work, your own idea will likely win.
If you still want to keep a bulb in your design, the bottom part is good but the top is not preferred (swirl bulb) #48 is refreshing to see orange or ANY additional color added but maybe too light? We prefer the contrast in #47, #45 only because it is easier to read.
Would you stack the words? (Limelight on top of Health) Show rays of light without a light bulb? We are counting on you! : )
Ahhh. I did not catch that. Very creative but we posted comment earlier... Lime, the color not the fruit.
Your impressive portfolio makes me want to step back and let you create and forget everything we suggested. So with only the name and tagline... what would you create for a Silicon Valley tech company who makes health insurance simple? No crosses or medical symbols... we already have health in the name and tagline.
I would love to see something without a bulb and just your creative ideas.
I know I read it ...I never follow the brief I go with what I feel is the right direction. I've uploaded 2 already but I'm not liking them.. and yes, I will critique my own work too.
You are probably right. I hope that means you will submit another entry? I am trying to keep open to new concepts in case we only get more of the same lightbulb concepts.
We are most interested in: - lime color (but not too light) with another color or black or reverse? - Bold and custom fonts (maybe stack the words?) - include the tagline - something which uses light, bright, glow, or lightbulb - we are a tech company in the insurance field, not an insurance company with technology. We make mobile apps and other technology.
I really hope you can submit one more as you seem to have the best portfolio and ability to design a Fortune 100 look. I am sorry for the confusing changes and invite you to submit just one more. I thought you were the best but understand your need to conserve time.
Really there is nothing I can bring to the table that has not been done, wish I could but I need to focus my attention on other contests. Thank you again for the complements and reviewing my submissions.
Light-bulb when off in my head I was approaching this the wrong by as in too many bulbs being uploaded that is when it hit me clean sharp retro but modern look and feel
Scott, Thanks for entry #192. We are split on this one as some like the font and others prefer sans serif and think this looks too retro or old school (old insurance image or theme is not what we are aiming for).
We selected you as top 5 based on your portfolio work and not this design. We hope you can help break this chain of unoriginal designs and still use the lightbulb theme in a simple, modern design.
