Hi, I know you said "no lighthouses", but I had to honestly express what I interpreted from the design brief. When you said "The lighthouse is located in a high poverty, high crime neighborhood", this really, in some way, affirmed my direction regarding this logo. I eagerly await you feedback, Thank You.

Thank you for creating three different options for us already, that's awesome. We really like the fact that you've portrayed an urban setting and we don't mind that you've used a picture of a lighthouse because we feel that it works here. #1 and #6 will probably convert to black and white pretty easily, but we think #7 might just not be colorful or convert to black and white easily enough. We like the modern feel of number #1 but we would like to see the font a little bolder. Your graphics show development in the community and we really liked that as well. Thanks again!
Hi, thank you so much for the feedback. Here is a new layout: a radical change, executed to the best of my ability. My aim was to represent what your ministry does and not just "the ministry". So I asked myself, "What is more important, the "light or the lighthouse"? The work or the building?. The lighthouse represents your ministry. However, the "light" from your "lighthouse", the work you do in the community, will help to change, guide and light-up the city. Hence the light coming from the lighthouse, shining on the city (the light and the city are the same color) representing the work you do and its effect on the community, while subtly, there is the silhouette of the lighthouse from where the light comes. I also put the type in all caps and made the font bolder. I hope this is good. I eagerly await your feedback. Thank you.
