Thanks for helping us "kickstart" the logos. I'm excited to see them and will update rankings and leave feedback frequently.

Because the name "lift" is very generic the logos which are adding elements of elevation as a logo mark seem to stand out.

Adding a logo mark is needed. I think we see that with the current rankings. Ideas for logo marks that I have would include things relating to where I'm at - in the heart of the rocky mountains (Utah). Those include:

- Mountains
- Ski Lifts (the idea "Lift" first came from a ski lift and some of my sketches have to do with a ski lift)
- Rockets, we build rockets in Utah - fun fact
- Clouds
- Angles/Points/Arches

The state's logo found at http://www.visitutah.com/ has the motto "life elevated" so if we can play off of that theme and develop a logo that represents "life elevated" that would be great.

https://www.airbnb.com/ has a great logo that almost resembles a rocket. Not that I'm pushing for rockets but I do like the very clean look and feel of this logo and logomark.

Hi David,

I'd just like to point out that the logo from https://www.airbnb.com may look like something else.. very different from a rocket. :) I'd rather not say what though.

Regards!

This is the logo I create with the "ski lift" theme. With this I don't like the word "the" and I don't like the gradient - and obviously I think we can improve and this a lot.

This is the company I just sold: http://www.redstoneresidential.com/. I used the mountain theme in our logo to tie us back to Utah (as well as the Redstone name to remind people about Utah's red rock and canyon lands).

I'm really liking the "flat" icons and logos. Generally we may need to add more color. Here a a few simple "Google/Flat ideas:

Logo's are looking great - I've extended out links to team members to begin ranking them individually so I'll be a little slow updating the overall ranking while I wait for feedback. Thanks for all the great logos and ideas I think we have a lot of variety and unique options.

If anyone has time I'd still like to see a version of this base logo: https://getbase.com/lib/img/press/logo-mark-horizontal.png adapted to the LIFT name and a ski chair.

thanks,

David

I think we've decided on the logo mark alignment. Please follow the airbnb.com layout with the logo mark left of the name and about the same size/height at the name. #82, #186, #97 or good examples of layout.

Thanks!

http://www.mx.com/, http://riser.ninja/ and http://www.mediarain.com/ are examples of the direction our site is going. Let's place the logos on a black background. Like the riser example that doesn't mean we need to change our colors.

thanks,

David
