social media networking group that creates business opportunities and referrals for members

Primarily want to show trustworthiness in business so blues / greens with white - and possibly a complimentary accent color - since the group is a social media networking group, hyperlink blue is probably a good color to include and base the rest of the logo around.

If done nicely something in a gray scale with blue/red/white might work - the Original logo was just red on a white background - looked angry. Use of black is fine for additional type face.

Multiple colors are also fine and might represent the multiple professions that the group members represent - if you used blue with green and a complimentary accent.

If we used LIBG as a block and initials, we would have to spell out LI Business Group someplace near the logo. I thought that perhaps we could highlight the LI and make this larger and then stack Business Group or use it in tandem. We want to have something about the logo that suggest social media. The tagline for the group is #thepowerofnetworking - the hashtag representing the connection to social media. We want to have an extra symbol - like a favicon - that is associate with the logo or perhaps sits above or below the name that can be our URL symbol/favicon
the existing website is www.libusinessgroup.com but there is nothing there to really help other than the image of LI
