I researched ribbons and found out pink and black symbolizes loss of a daughter or mourning of a daughter. I modified the ribbon to add blue to represent Jodi's love of water. I chose a font that looked like handwriting to give a personal feeling to the logo. Through the use of pink I made the connection between the ribbon and her mothers love. I'm sorry for her loss. I have a daughter and I can only imagine the pain she must feel. I hope her blog will bring her and others comfort. Jill
