Entry # 24 gives reference to the term "legion", which is synonymous with a military group. My design is a representation of an army patch, whose upward stripes indicate growth and increase. The overall design also reinforces to your market the traits innate to the military and vital to the nature of your business, such as integrity, sound judgment, dependability. decisiveness, and a good bearing by creating a favorable impression despite any scenario your clients are presently in.

You did well to get the Army part correct. I like the Roman Army Theme now. Look at my contest updates for more info.

Entry #44 uses the distinct Roman shield. The praetor's head is actually an meter which represents an increasing trend.

I like the colors in 44 better than 45. For Veni Vidi Vici use dots centered like you would see in SPQR instead of commas. It's really good and I want to ask these questions:

How does this logo tell me it's an Internet Company?
How does it represent "many" or "multiple" or "legion" in the logo?
Will people notice the upward trend as it is or does it need to be something else?

I really like this idea and it's really close to being #1 at this point. It's definitely safe for Top 5 at this point however you and I both know ideas change quickly but I do think this is great!

Hope that helps

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'll make a design solution with these questions in mind. Right now

- The essence of Roman vs Internet is an oxymoron: one represents tradition and dates back thousands of years, while the other represents modernity. The best thing is to marry the two by designing the emblem using Web 2.0 style, while keeping the typeface traditional. Web 2.0 style, which is what logos in the web are usually designed with, are often characterized by simplicity, minimalism, and gradients glossiness. These evoke a feeling of modernity and clean aesthetics.

- #46 makes use of Roman helmets to attain the "multiple army" message we are looking for. At the same time, they are arranged in such as a way that the center soldier is distinct -- full-colored, centered and superimposed from the couple of soldiers behind it -- to symbolize that it is "ahead" of others, or figuratively, "first" among similar competing business.

I see what you are saying however I think one of the beauties of the Internet is being able to tie old and new together and make oxymorons miraculously sync up to create something unique. That being said I like you concept and had a few suggestions:

1) Slightly shrink the guys and add a few more rows of soldiers
2) Darken up the font and shield so it's more visible
3) Possibly add eyes to the helmets depending on how they look when you adjust the size
4) Try and add something that represents technology

That's about it for now.

Thanks!

Hello, posting an iterated version with a more menacing galea, more legionaries, and another still with a meter as a crest

I like this one better, great job.

I would still like to see more legionaries maybe see if they can appear infinite. Also can the Red on the helmet be a meter somehow indicating upward sales? Maybe that's a stretch but I'll challenge your creativity here. It's #1 on the board for now and I appreciate the work, looking forward to the revisions!

I've now updated my design [ #75 and #76 ] with the plumes representing a meter composed of upward arrows with varying degrees of red to indicate upward sales. For variation I also included a design with gray separators between each level for a more subdued look.

Instead of just one upward arrow, #79 replaces all helmet crests with upward arrows since the term "leads" is plural.
