Color Preferences
Orange/Blue/White. This is the hardest part for me. Could go a completely different direction like Black/White/Red.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The shape of a guitar is an obvious choice, but it's not my first preference. I prefer the logo to use guitar headstocks, and if possible to use a variety of shapes - Stratocaster, Telecaster, Les Paul, etc (but please avoid Paul Reed Smith). I attached an idea I had but I'm not tied to it. Please forgive my primitive MS Paint exploration.
What I've learned so far: first, I suck at this. Thank you to all the talented and patient designers I've interacted with so far.
Second, some people seem to not read the description and are turning in ideas that I've already mentioned I don't want: shape of a guitar body, etc. I'm trying to respond to everyone be but if you submit something I've already said I'm not looking for I may not take the time to write. No offense.
Third: I'd like a square design. This is key.
Fourth: I'm leaning towards a simple statement that doesn't necessarily tell the whole story in a logo. Submissions that are overly "talky" and explain everything are not likely to appeal to me. Too much text is definitely a turnoff.
Fifth: many designers have submitted multiple designs. Thank you for your hard work! As a creative person myself (audio not visual) I can appreciate the painstaking process you go through. Even if you don't win, I really appreciate you sharing your talent and working with my suggestions.
