An American restaurant housed in a historically unique location.

We've seen a handful of gray and black logos that were inspired by the gray vaults in the old bank. We think its what we want, but its all we have seen and we still don't love the logos we've been presented outside of Logo Tournament, so a pop of "color" (navy, forest green, brown) may not be so bad.

We want to pay homage to the history and building. The restaurant is in Salem, MA which is an old martime community, but we don't want to focus on maritime history in our logo. The building is the second oldest bank in the country and has been a bank since 1808. The decor plays off of the bank and includes lots of wood, brick, rich marble, strapwork ceiling, the bank vault, safety deposit boxes, and old leather bound ledgers will be displayed. The food and concept will be a play off traditional New England cuisine presented in a modern way. The kitchen will be a shiny hub of evergy with a gorgeous, custom, iron wood-fired grill. The shiny modern kitchen will also present traditional cooking techniques- spit, rotisserie, cauldrons, thick metal pans, etc
