Hi Dr2002 :)

Here is my first design for your new logo.. Strong, cool, friendly and very memorable. Will look great on both white and dark background, and you will be able to see it very clearly from a long distance.

Hope you like it and I will be happy to modify if you have any other suggestions for colors, fonts or layout etc.

Kind regards,
Anne

#174 We do like this! How would it look with the L in front of the K and the K not backwards?
I agree, this is memorable. Keep it coming...
#171 We like the font of the names.

I know.. ;) I made some new ones with different thickness and using the same font as the name.. Also added red in one of the squares instead of purple..

I keep going back to your design:)
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to distinguish the L a bit from the K and also not make it look like only a K from a distance.... Thanks you for continuing to work on this!

Thank you very much! Im glad you keep coming back! :))
I will do some thinking about the L and K, how to make the L more visible and submit new entries when finished!

Have a great evening!

Ok, I had my first idea of making the L stand out more by adding a shadow behind it.. Elements with shadows always stand out much better then elements without shadow.. They just blend in :)

Here is the first version #341

I will make some more variations later this evening.. :)

I do like this. My main concern is how the entire logo would look on a T-shirt or from far away...Not sure it would show up that well.

I assure you that it will look exactly as you see it here, because its not actually a shadow that will fade out like normal shadows do.. Its a little trick we designers do to make a shadow without loosing its effect when the logo is blown up or reduced down. Its actually a copy of the same L thats made darker and moved a bit up and to the right to make it appear like a shadow. So the object is just as clear as the rest of the logo and will look great on both white and dark tshirts. From far away it will show up as you see it here.

Now that the contest has entered top 5 mode, its only the top 5 ranked designers that will be able to submit new entries, so Im not able to upload any more variations since im the 6 ranked designer.

Thanks,
Anne
