Just want to say a big thank you! I know it is a lot of work to design logos and I am excited about all of these great ideas! Keep them coming!

#48 I tried to comment individually on this one, but it gave me an error. My daughter just explained the thought bubble and the conversation bubble! DUH! Now I get it. Cool idea!!! Something about it feels a little rough though still.

FYI: Not accusing anyone. Just want to share this so you know that the people element styled this way has already been used.

Red brings up some good points, another example would be www.ubuntu.com I don't think there is concern about trademarks, but who wants a logo that looks like someone else?

The logos are looking great! red / blacklab you both make excellent points. This logo does need to be unique!

I have to run, but will sort the other new entries in a few hours.

There are thousands of the "people linked" logo around, just like there are thousands of logos that use a globe or swoosh and even the Myriad font. Most designers are well aware of this. There is a line between copying but it's not that thin really, most people can spot a blatant copy. We all know the golden arches of McDonalds.... right?... They were designed specifically for MacD's... using them in your own design is a blatant copy. That's just one example, but I think you get what I mean.
