I like the font but the colors are too hot. We'd prefer something more cool.

The combination of characters in the logo mean "not", so it doesn't quite fit.

Assalamu'alaikum Yusuf,

I apologize, in previous entry I combined character "lam" and "alif" represent letter "L" and "A"
but that combination of characters in the logo mean "not".
I submmit new logo "iqro'". hope you love it. #13

Thanks for the resubmissions. Much appreciated. I need to get my webmaster (person who writes the tutorials at the site) to offer his feedback.

Thanks..

This is what he is saying:

I think how the word Arabic is done is really clever. I love that.
I don't understand the logo to the left.

_________

So can you please explain the concept a little.

We'd also liek to see what could be done with this #39 in terms of improvements.

Regarding improvements to #39, here are some details provided by one of my students:

I quite like #39, the one ranked 1st, "arabic" is done really nicely and cleverly.. the picture needs to be changed, it looks odd.. I'm not too sure about the colours though.. I think they should compliment the other site.. Also it would be good to see the words aligned different, in a straight line, aligned to the left..

___________

what she means by colors are the colors used at www.shariahprogram.ca (the site LAO is supposed to be sending traffic to). Please generate one version with matching colors to this main site.. but this is not a condition. Please feel free to submit a few different color combinations. Great work, masha Allah.

Yusuf,

Thanks for your valuable feedback and high appreciation in my work.
I apologize for the icon in #39, its abstract.

From your recent request, I submit new logo in #51 #53 with a detailed icons in #52
My icon represents to:
1. Two "9-side" stars --> asmaul husna ---> the 99 names of The Greatest Allah SWT.
2. An-Nuur and Sun ---> asmaul husna no. 93 ---> The Greatest of Light ---> Insha Allah your college education will always have Ridha from Allah SWT, and enlighten the international + Canadians society to Islam.
3. I think the people who want to learn "arabic" is "enlightened people" by Allah SWT

Please feel free if you want more revision.

Personally, I didn't mind the earlier abstract image. We just wanted to know, if it was referring to something specific.

The thing with these pictorial logos is that they need to be extremely detailed IMO. Though you've explained the relevance, I don't think an-nuur truly fits in with what we're looking for.

I'll let me my other two people come up with suggestions for future revisions.

Yusuf,

In #39 is referring from letter A, L, O. But its abstract image.

One of my admins is saying #9 and #10 are the best so far (without the an-nuur)

I'm awaiting more feedback from my tutorial author. Let me get the feedback from him first, before you revise #9 and #10

I've changed the top one now. I'd really like to see some different color combinations. This blue, I'm not sure.. it looks great on the Shariah program logo, but doesn't seem to be working here IMO. My other two feedback givers seem to like it. In any case, we're going to need more colors. Best would be to avoid anything with a neon glow.. like this green and this blue.

wa alaikum salaam,

Nice combinations. Will wait for my two feedback givers before ranking them later.

Still undecided at this point, but honest feedback is that the novelty in the cool use of the font is sort of wearing off a little, both for myself and my tutorial author. I can't recommend any variations either. For the time being I've switched the 1, 2 placement in the rankings.

jzk khairan for all the work thus far, but this is how we feel at this stage of the contest.
