This version, however, is more appropriate.
We like adding the scales to the A, but it's clear there's too much space between letters. And with the scales placed horizontally, with no angle, it looks a little like the A is doing some heavy lifting. Creates this feeling of burden.
I wonder if playing with the angle of the line/scales would change that feeling at all?
We like the movement, with A rising higher than the rest. What I wonder is, where can we fit in what we do? We write progressive legislation. How can we incorporate law, or creative process into this? I think, above all else, this is what's missing. We need to see our mission in the logo.
Can you try making the circle more of a circular swish, to suggest movement? Can you also do grey on a white background, and we will decide on the color scheme after we have set the design? Thanks so much.
