Our Ideas & Additional Information
The product name is pronounced “Lead Oxygen,” but visually we would like it to be “Lead O2” with the “2” in subscript, as the “O2” should represent an oxygen molecule (apologies for the chemistry reference).

Great start!

General comment: the "2" should be subscript, meaning it should be to the lower right, not upper right.

#1 - like the colors and web 2.0 feel, but it may be a little hard to read at a glance

#2 - like the colors and clean design; it's on the plain side though, so would be good to see a fuller option; would like to see the logo stand on its own without the tagline; not sure if the "O" should be that big

Thanks!

#4 - Good start. Not a huge fan of the gray text for "Lead"; "2" is a bit big, and should be in the lower right, not upper right; don't think the "O" should overlap as much, if at all, with the word "Lead"; I'd suggest experimenting with different fonts

#5 - Much better with the smaller "O." Would like to see the "2" moved down (see #6 and #9), and maybe overlap with the "O" a little bit? Would also like to see what a different font looks like... something fuller and rounder.

These are a great start.

#11 - Really like the "2" overlapping the "O." Would like to see the "2" a little smaller and the same shade as "Lead." Would also like to see this concept with some sort of gradient and/or glass effect. My preference is for this design over #9 and #12.

#10 - The "O" and the "2" look awesome together. I like that this is more readable than #1. Would like to see what it looks like with a less cartoony font (and maybe two different fonts -- one for "Lead" and one for "O2") and no reflection underneath.

#24 - Excellent design; really like the blue gradient you're using. I also like how the blue is straight underneath the letters. The green is a bit on the dull side though, and I'm still not in love with the font (it's on the boxy side... I like the roundness of the font in #1; it's just that the "a" and "d" aren't that clear).

#17 - Huge improvement with the gradient and smaller "2". Love the round font. Not a huge fan of the yellow at the top of the "O" though. Would like to see a more dramatic gradient, and see if we can brighten up the "O" and "2". Would be interested in seeing this design without the text outlined as well.

#27 - Like the fullness of this font, but I still don't think we're there yet. A round font is good, but don't want it to be overly "cartoony." Good shade of blue, but I like the brighter green in design #32. Again the "2" should be subscript (lower right), as opposed to superscript.

Two general comments.

A) Font: if I had to describe the font we're looking for, "round," "modern," "professional," and "elegant" come to mind.

B) Subscript "2": the "2" should appear to the bottom right of the "O", not the top right.

Really happy with the concepts we've received so far, and how these designs are evolving.

#7 - Perfect shade of blue. Things to think about: green is a little dull, the "O" looks a bit like a bulls-eye, the letters are spaced out a little more than we'd like. Would also like to see the design without the tagline, and see comments about subscript "2" above.

#29 - Interesting idea with the blue trail underneath "Lead." Nice shade of green. Received a comment that the "O" looks like an eyeball. The font for "Lead" is a bit cartoony, and would like to see this without the text outline. Also, see comments about subscript "2" above.

#33 - Neat design. I like the modern and professional feel. The shades of blue and green used are a bit dark/dull for what we're looking for. Also the "O2" part might be hard to read for some. Would like to see what this looks like without the tagline underneath.

#36 - Definitely rounder than #2, but a bit too far in that direction. #36 and #10 feel too cartoony, and don't quite convey the professionalism we're trying to establish. Am still a big fan of this concept though of the bright blue outline and white text. The gradient is very well executed.

#34 - I like the idea of the lower-case "L" and outlined text. I don't think we're quite there yet with the outline though; you may want to try playing around with different color combos with the "lead," "O," "2," and outline. Also, feels a bit cartoony right now.

#41 - Cool concept. I personally like the way this looks, but am wary that some clients may find this hard to read, particularly with the missing letter stems in the "E" and "D." I'm definitely interested in seeing this design evolve to become slightly more readable, while maintaining the simplicity, sleekness and professionalism.

#48 - Like the cleanness of this design and how the "O" overlaps a touch with the "d." Not a huge fan of the bubbles, and would like to see the "2" in a smaller subscript font and in the same color as "Lead."

#43 - This concept has potential, but I'm not a huge fan of the black outline. I like the how you did the "2" in a gradient circle, but would like to see what this looks like as a blue gradient (same shade as the "lead").

#62 - I like this font a lot; it's similar to #1, but easier to read. I also like how you brightened up the green around the "2," though it may be a little too light now... a shade somewhere between this design and #24 would be great.

A few thoughts. Can you tighten up the blue outline around the text by about 25% so the outline isn't as thick. I like the "d" doesn't have the bottom of the stem; can you stylize the "a" similarly so that it doesn't have the top of the stem? Also, can you make the "2" a little bit bigger, and make the green circle flush with the bottom edge of the blue text outline?

I would also incorporate some other elements from your earlier designs. I like how the bottom of the blue outline in #24 is flat. I also like how the "O" is a little closer to the "d" in #24. I also like how the green circle is behind the "O" in #10.

#60 - Cool concept. Really like the sleekness of "Lead," though not as excited about the "O2" yet. Would like to see the green circle either aligned center with "Lead" for flush with the bottom of "Lead." Would also be interested in seeing if we can make the green circle a little smaller, and play around with the "2" overlapping the edge of the circle, rather than being completely inside it. (Also, the "2" should be subscript toward the bottom of the "O," not toward the top.) Let's get rid of the tagline, and remove some of the smaller bubbles. We would like to see 3-5 medium to large bubbles.

#63 - Like these colors better than #33, but I'd swap them so the "Lead" is blue and "O2" is green. Not a huge fan of the new "L"... would be interested in seeing it in lower-case. Overall, would like to see the characters stand out with a little more 3-D treatment.

#48 - Very interested in seeing this design progress per earlier comments. Speaking with other people, they like the bubbles. Maybe make them a little closer together, and flip them horizontally so the trail goes clockwise, rather than counter-clockwise.

#70 - Great improvement. Like the white outline, but would like to see how you can make this stand out on a white background... maybe put some sort of shadow behind the logo. Also, would like to see the characters stand out more with some glass and/or 3-D treatment. Would also be interested in seeing the "2" in a contrasting font and sticking out lower, so the bottom protrudes below the bottom edge of the rest of the characters.

#49 - I like this design, but am not crazy about the current gradient, particularly how the blue goes from dark on the bottom to light in the middle to dark on the top. Would rather it be a simple progression of dark to light in one direction... somewhat similar to the gradient in #17, but if you can make it look more 3-D, that would be great.

#80 - Like the blue around "Lead" better than #60, but like the green around "O2" in #60 better. The "2" needs to be to the bottom-right of the "O". Would like to see what it looks like with fewer and bigger bubbles (3-5 bubbles total). Also would like to see these bubbles in blue instead of green. And maybe the bubbles should appear as rings instead of solid circles? Lastly, and most importantly, we're not fans of the font used for "Lead." Looking for something a bit more elegant and friendly.

#86 - Good. I like the new bubble trail. With a few modifications, this could be an excellent logo. Would be interested in seeing the following: A) Remove the top (smallest) bubble. B) Make the "2" the same color blue as "Lead." C) Make the "2" smaller and drop it slightly below the "O." D) Put the logo on a solid white background. Additionally, we'd also be interested in seeing a version with slightly brighter blue, a lower-case "L," and the bubbles in blue instead of green (though keep the "O" green). Thanks!

#86 - Another thought. Wonder how it look with the bubble trail going up like in the Meebo logo (www.meebo.com).

#126 - Love the new colors, thinner "O," repositioned "2," and bubble configuration. Would like to see a version with the bubbles a little smaller and not as vertically spaced out, so that the overall height of the logo isn't so much. Would also be interested in seeing the "2" slightly smaller so that the white outline around the "2" doesn't touch the inner white of the "O."

#129 - excellent. Getting a little nitpicky here, but could you remove the fourth bubble (little one on the right), and move the top bubble over to the left and down a tad?
